Love the look. Reduces my urge to buy a button box and getting that instead.

My local electronics mart has this on sale, I have the R5 with the round wheel and this is being bought after work today. Thanks jack for the review, you have me convinced 💪

Come on brother. We know the best wheel under $500 currently is the Simagic GT Neo 😊
This does look very good though...

Maybe the best under 300, but with not that many buttons and a huge sacrifice on quality to achieve its price , I think it's moza competition is the KS (although I'm not familiar with the KS so maybe one day I'll try it)

A 450€ wheel and no usb connection. So your locked to a moza wheel base. Then Simmagic is a better option

I have the first version ( V1) of this wheel. with golden quick release 😎😅. I have been using and abusing it all the time on iRacing. For more than two years now. I cannot brake anything in this. Rock solid. GSV2P is even better. But I think I will wait for V3. Maybe Moza will put funky switches there. Analig sticks are not that great imho. My olny gripe with GS.

I wish moza woupd change there look lol. All preference
Also the buttons are nice its why I own the fx pro. Buttons come in handy thats for sure.
You need to try the new simagic qr with the larger lip to hepp take them off. These are all things simagic has uodated this past year. Also i def want one thats on the qr tighter but ive never had an issue putting it on or taking it off but ive only ever used the new qrs simagic has.
What i dont like is moza changed to plastic inside of the qr at rhe bottom and the edge. And people have been having issues with it cracking.
But great review about a wheel. I think we all just love new products lol.

I have to say, I have the love for my wheel, my Mini wheel base is still my go to with the hours of work ive put into it, and Im only start to get the benefit, but if I could use the GS on my mini I would do so in a heart beat.
And now that I think of it the QR on the Moza, I like it being light, and easy to remove, cus It's kinda like a real QR in real life. so maybe thats why, but yeah cool wheel I've to say :)

@reviewforthetube6485 maybe they don't have usb for a reason, dunno why but in general mixing and matching bases and wheels probably isn't good for business. And I get that.

Thanks for the review. Is there a wired connection on the back of the wheel to connect to Moza's Universal Hub?

    • @JACKZERYT
      @JACKZERYT  29 днів тому +1

I think you'd need to reach out to moza and ask, I don't know much about their universal hub @Kireth on YT would be the man to ask! He has a fair bit of Moza gear :), very friendly too , or the Moza discord, I'm sure that'd be the quickest way to find answers :)

@@JACKZERYT thanks! I actually did end up contacting Moza and Apex Sim Racing, and it seems that unfortunately there is not a wired connection for the USB hub for the GS V2P. Bummer, since it seems like a great wheel!

@arisherwood4635 tbh the Simagic GT neo is an excellent wheel if your looking for cross compatability, tried and test by many people, and it comes with a usb kit too (sold as accessory if needed)

@Leifbuck I have a review of both on my channel, but you'll find from all other reviews, that people are really happy with it. ,
Do have a long think about the Alpha instead of the Alpha Mini, as for an tiny extra amount, you'll get enough ffb, so you won't be looking to upgrade for years!, especially if your physically strong.
