I like the Porsche 911. I probably would wait for a test drive on a electric Porsche Cayman. Corvette C8 and Maserati GT are also interesting. But will Maserati make it 🤷♂️?
I bought my first 911 (Carrera T) this year. Like you Anna, the car makes me speechless. I am a 70 year old man who has experienced a lot of cars and it is by far the best car I have ever driven.
I’m 77 and might well buy one in the Spring as my friend has a new 992. Carrera T Manual and is so thrilled with his. I’m too old to bother about finding its limits but just glad that after 58 years, I might find 85% of them! 😬😃😃
And I’m 71, Robert, and just received my 911 Carrera 4 seven weeks ago. Never have I had so much fun driving a car ( including MB, BMW, Audi, Range Rover ) and I can’t walk away after parking without turning around to take another look.

You nailed it Anna with your comment on what you do with this car when you approach a corner. I have never experienced another car that evokes this feeling. Such confidence on wheels!
Porsche has mastered this platform period. Without adding more displacement just more efficiency and better engine design. The special models are just lighter with a manual. Marketing is another Porsche high water mark. Now the dealers get the middle finger period. Direct to customers should be for the special models period.
Simple answer: you’re a true legend, Anna.😜 The 911 is a unique car. Almost everybody who loves driving dreams of having a 911. It represents the ultimate driving experience.
The Legend lives on and reins Supreme for a reason. The 911 ticks all the boxes if you can afford and want an everyday car that will make you stand out. Great video Anna.
Thanks, Anna. Saving the most wonderful vehicle towards the closing of 2024. And a genuine internal combustion engine to boot ! Wishing you the absolute best that this festive season can provide.
That colour is more suited for a GT3, most of these are bought in grey, more suited for the car ( as you said ) The S and 4s are a good balance in the lineup. The standard carrera is good when tuned
Anna, the comment about how a Porsche takes on a curve is sooo true. I drove my Porsche today, Friday, I left work early to take on a curve before traffic built up. OMG, the way this car handles the Gs is phenomenal. I have a 2014 Cayman by the way🏎
Always liked purple Porsches. It's not for everyone but somehow it works, most cars look weird in purple. This one might be a bit too much on the pink side but I'm sure it looks better in person. I think the 911 is the only model Porsche have made in purple with the exception of a few 928's.
Great review Anna - love the enthusiasm - had a similar reaction the first time I tested one of these 9 years ago. Finally saved enough to buy one and had it now 18 months - perfect car for driving down twisty British B roads or longer road trips all over Europe. Also tested the new GTS t-hybrid this week - amazingly Porsche have made it even better - think you’ll enjoy that even more if you can get one to review. Merry Christmas to you.
Hi Paul, hmmm, that is a tough question. Very tough! Coming next week is the Panamera, she has forever been my favourite. Fast, sleek, handles like a dream and carries all my clutter!
Great to see you in a 911 Anna, the best sports car, hence it's 51year history. Suits you, maybe one for your garage? Best wishes to you for the festive season. Thanks for your YT vlogs.
Hello I am new to the channel. Sorry I’m late to comment. I grew up riding in the tiny back seats and driving Porsche here in Carmel, Ca they are great! Happy New Year great review! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Brilliant review, well done, Anna. I love Porsches, they have soul👌👌👌. Happy Xmas and New Year and thank you for all of the work you do all year long bringing us top notch content 👍👍
Great review! Love the 992.1 for sure. I recently traded in my 997 for a '24 Carrera T (manual). Both super fun cars, I'm 911 for life! I like when the elegant lady says “You’re not driving a pussy-car, you’re driving a 911” totally made me smile. Long live the analog tachometer!!
Porsche has stayed true to its original design and engineering which is really to be commended. Porsche as Sportscar is more desirable and yet somehow more attainable for a normal person, as compared to the other Supercars and Hypercars and all.
Hello Anna… this is the first time I've been served one of your videos by the UA-cam algorithm gods. There was a smile on my face the whole time and a couple of instances where I thought 'You cheeky minx!' Excellent work paired with an awesome vehicle. You've earned a sub and the bell icon is tapped for All. Well done you! Nice watch by the way.
Very nice! Forgive me for not remembering on your previous reviews, but do you ever drive a manual transmission and if so, which do you prefer on a sports car? 😊
❤911 Porsche tested of course by Anna alias "Girl on Swiss roads"... My favorite 911 Porsche is the targa 🤪😎😍🤩beautiful colours during the review💯💯👠💃nice xmas Anna. Greetings from Hrvatska.
Hi João, actually this is such a great question, thank you! They used to come as standard but now with the new generation, we only have 2 exhaust pipes, what a pity. Out of curiosity, I went into a configurator and you can't even have quads with GT3, well that's a bit of a letdown, I must admit.
Firstly not an EV 🤢test 👍, wrong colour, agree with you green with gold wheels 😍, how beautiful it looks, the rear with those massive wheel arches just gorgeous, I’ve been lucky to have driven a 911 turbo round a track, and a GTS on public roads, I prefer the GTS, I wonder how many here have driven one on the road, it’s a different driving experience totally, the engine is what makes a Porsche so special, great review as always, men want to go tyre smoking or drift round a track, not how we drive daily, my only disappointment was the blue dress 😍disappeared to soon, you have a lovely figure, don’t be afraid to show it, you take care of yourself, nice 👌 thank you.
I agree that the visibility of the instruments on the sides of the dashboard is compromised by the steering wheel, but I find your remark about Italians out of place. It doesn't seem professional to mix technical aspects of a vehicle with personal opinions about Italy or Germany. That said, the review is still interesting
Nice one Anna. If I was in your shoes metaphorically speaking if I could afford it (I can't), justify it (I can't) and somewhere safe to park it (I don't) I would have it and enjoy it for the life of my driving licence or my brain goes 'pop' or my teeth end up in a tree. Brilliant review but I think your cat would decline a spirited ride in those small rear seats even if there was some space for a sand box that would be no good when driving with a modicum of spirit. Great presentation and editing as always but the cat was missing from this one.
Anna….you might like the colour..Ruby Star Neo..with the Arun (gold) performance wheels…it looks vastly better and is a transformation. A friend has a new Python Green Carrera T and is so pleased with it…even the colour which was a leap of courage but it really works in daylight! I´m a Ferrari man so Porsche for me is behind Ferrari, however I recognize that the 911 is great car and an legend. However for my taste I choose Ferrari...Well my Latin heart speaks more highly. Great review as always Anna, thanks for sharing.
Porsche consistently won Motor Magazine’s Performance Car of the Year. There is a reason for that, they make the best sports car that can be lived with on a daily basis. I’m more of a Ferrari fan so no I’m not one of those Porsche fans that can be irritating. The one thing that I dislike about the 911 is that it has gotten so big compared to the 911’s of old. And that alcantara steering wheel needs to be leather. Alcantara is very good at absorbing sweat. Now I know where you got your passion for cars from Anna. Sounds like your Dad taught you well.
Pink to make the boys wink........ yellow to make the boys feint.... Revs to 74 ...just like a GT3 rs................ and my old renault 19 16v.....😮😮😮 excellent and fun review.... N x

On the one hand, I feel that I should finally experience the noise and driving dynamics, as claimed before I die, having studiously avoided over a long petrol-head career, the ritual setting fire to one's credit card inherent with 911 dealings and implausible defiance of polar moments of inertia. On the other, I don't seem to be sufficiently bothered after all about 20th Century (actually 19th Century) technology as to put the effort in. On balance, I think I prefer to skip it and instead, enjoy the quiet of an EV to better enjoy the depth of my Baby Boomer rock favourites (Metallica anyone?), whilst also enjoying the get up and gone and not too shabby handling of our S Plaid Grand Tourer on British & EU roads. Of course, our "Soccer Mom" X Plaid is also a teensy bit (well, a lot actually) more nippy than 911's, even when loaded up with grandchildren filling the rest of the 6 seats - Disclaimer: No grandchildren have been harmed or involved in getting down the road pretty smartly in our EV's. I recently commented on a channel about a guy's ICE Boxster & Macan poor reliability grumbles. I observed that the Gen-Z "Zoomers" probably would regard the multitude of buttons as quaint, being brought up in the i-pad & i-phone generation. He said that he was a late middle-aged/ early senile, wealthy guy who could afford Porsche's ridiculous pricing and that Zoomers couldn't afford them. So, Porsche ownership was not relevant to them. Exactly my point. A dying brand. Did anyone mention that Porsche have made such a mess of EV design & manufacture, that they have given up on EV's? The rumour amongst the few, still solvent Porsche dealers, is that Porsche are going to put ICE into both the Tincan and the new "EV Only" Macan and make them in Mexico, or China or somewhere? Wherever it is, it won't be Germany. The Porsche & Pietsch families and the workers unions seem to be hell-bent on making sure of that.
Peter, your comment was intriguing and genuine. I get why you would want a quiet, serene EV. For that reason I enjoy EVs from time to time. BUT. Here is my take on the 911 and if I may, advice to you. Drive it if you can. Buy it if you can. Forget the company's politics, forget what gen-z zoomers etc are saying, thinking. You are 68. This is the time to do what YOU want. There is just something about the 911. I can't quite put it into words, well, not all of it. Imagine if one day you are unable to drive this car. Because it's too late. Now you have to the freedom to choose. And I am sensing you're too tempted to give that one up just yet...
