Wicked project! That creature of rubber band insides was so crazy
My husband would love that mug. He played golf for over 35 yrs and due to his health now, he can't play like he used to. I love this mug. AMAZING.
Glad you made a proper coffee this time instead of using instant! 😅
Late night video drop! Hooray! :)
I don't know why, but this has become one of my favorite videos of yours.
What a load of balls. You got a hole in one Nick, Great build.
Another wonderful creation! The rubberband worm was gross and fascinating to watch, lol. Thank you for continuing these videos!
Glad you enjoyed it!❤
@@nickzammetifabulous work as always Nick! Hope all is well with you all there! 💐🙏🏼💛
Each video I’m so glad you never quit! It must be so hard coming up with new ideas. Keep it up!
I know a bunch of golfers who would love that mug.
You've got some balls Nick!
Actually laughed out loud when you spilt the coffee😁Great job !
Another fantastic video Nick. I like the way you are explaining how to do things and why you are doing it. Aliens are alive lol 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You’re no mug when it comes to crazy resin projects 😆. Great work as usual Nick
Nick, some golf ball cores are rubber bands wrapped around a smaller core and some are molded using a rubber eraser like core, it's really not safe to drink from, I would of used more resin to seal the inside of the mug, I like how it came out though great job Nick
Ahh he’ll be fine lol I doubt he’ll ever drink out of it again 😂
Haha I loved this so much. When you spilled your coffee on you I cracked up. It was 100% something I'd do, and have actually done. 😂 Thanks for the laugh and, as always, awesome creations.
OMG .....I accidentally read your comment so I knew he was going to spill his coffee on his self and it still made me LOL. The look on his face was priceless.
Nick got us All to watch him playing with his 'balls'! 🤣
It's very good golf mug
You proper mugged me off in this video Nick ... loved it!!!!!!!
Nick!!! I love your tattoo. Michael J Fox would love to see it. Marty Mcfly 😂
The project is great but I have to say the rubberband worm was my favorite. 🐛
It's midnight. We screamed when the end blew off! 😂
That was such a cool project Nick! The rubber band worm was looking like an alien! It was so fun!
Those old balls are great for hitting "worm burners." 🐛
Cool project? Coffee wasn't!
Oh that elastic band ball was amazing!!! So cool.
That's an awesome coffee cup! Those elastic bands were pretty creepy!
Awesome episode Nick!! Come on people let's get him to 1 Million subscribers!! The Force is strong with Nick.
Back in the day, the vast majority of top name brand golf balls were “wound”. The best of the best were the Titleist Balata golf balls. Liquid core, wound in rubber bands, then coated with a soft balata cover. They were bad-ass golf balls, and the most expensive on the market at that time.
Great video, BTW.
They were really fun to dissect. Once you cut into the elastic bands they would rapidly uncoil and the ball would bounce erratically all over the place. It could get quite dangerous!
The Balata Tree is the source of Latex - the main component of those type of balls.
I worked on a couple of golf courses and occasionally a mower would find one in the grass and slice it open. it was always fun to see what was inside.
There was this myth that the liquid inside was toxic or explosive - supposedly super dangerous! Or was that just what my big brother told me…
We use to unwind them as kids and yes the small sack of liquid inside was supposed to be toxic so was always a rush to get it before our dog who loved chasing the unwinding golf ball. Never knew if it was true but never willing to risk it. Never saw anything like the worm emerge, would have been great in Dr Who of that time, genuinely scary.
Glad all the golf balls missed.
The rubber band worm was so bizarre! I’d fill that bad boy up with beer if it were me. Such a fun video to watch. You’re a hoot Nick. Hope you didn’t get burned when you were showing us your cheeky little emblem. Cheers!❤
that is a very very old ball.
It's definitely not safe to drink stuff from that mug, especially hot liquids.
I'm guessing there are food safe resins on the market? You might be able to make it food safe by filling it with a food safe resin, then taking that back to a thin layer on the inside and rim of the mug. You'd get a small space of resin between the insides of the balls and the inside surface of the mug, so you might lose some of the visual impact of the inside of the mug because of the light distortion from the resin, but at least it would definitely be food safe then. Very cool project Nick.
Please do this Nick!
Yes kidarwolf there is a food safe resin, so it will be possible to make more and I'd bet they would be a hit 😊😊
But are food-safe resins also heat-safe? They might be okay for water, but maybe not for hot coffee…
if I'm not mistaken food safe resins don't come out as clear as other resins and or yellow much faster. That's part of why you don't see them used very often. Also anything added into food safe resin including, but not limited to, pigments, dyes, imbeds, and polishes compromise food safe resins safety score making it no longer food save. In the end I'm not sure it's worth the effort for a small artist to take the time to make things food grade approved. It's worth more as a statement piece than a mug.
Heating up any resin isn't the best idea so a glass or plastic insert might be the saver option
Now that's a COOL MUG!!!! NOT CRAZY about the Handles, but ALL IN ALL, it's a GREAT MUG!!!! My husband would LOVE IT!!!!
@UA-cam put this on the trending page! Nick deserves it! He’s way too talented to not be there!
Balls flying everywhere 😂😂😂 that was a fun video ❤
That was smooth! HA! Nice work. I truly enjoy your videos.
What about a 'GOLF TEE' mug for all the tea drinkers! Please be careful, or at least practice shouting 'FORE' for when you make another Golf Ball mug lol. Another Great Video Nick.......... BIG THUMBS UP 👍😷👍
My uncle would love this!!! He’s an avid golfer!
I’m like you, Nick! Just for the buggies!!!
❤️❤️❤️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Flying golf balls. Gnarly creacher escaping captivity. What more could I expect!! 😎 😎 Oh yeah. Spill some coffee 😂😅
OMG really good work and the rubber band worm laughed so hard when it happened. Thank you good start to my morning.
Cool mug
❤ fun. So glad you got the golf ball wormy thing!
Another cool project. Keep them coming. Great content. Thank You
😂😂😂 you got balled over, that was flipping ace 😊
Hole in 1 ⛳ ☕ 😊
Most golf ball manufacturers use rubber or cork both natural and synthetic as the cores of the balls. If you want to drink from the mug more often you can get food grade polish or coatings you can apply to the mug . Looks good keep up the great work!
Yeah, there's also food grade resin you can use that I think would be a good investment for things like this.
I saw the thumbnail and immediately knew it was a Zammeti project ⛳️ love it!!
The worm is alive! Thanks for the rewarding content!
Another killer project that turned out amazing and so clear
❤ this mug - I was waiting for the elastic band worm having hand carved a few and being stunned by the different insides - nice one 👍🏻
Amazing video. That mug looks awesome. This is how a golf ball made, At its core, a golf ball is made from rubber. It is then covered with either plastic, a thermoplastic resin called Surlyn, or urethane, which is an artificial crystalline compound that's also used in pesticides.
Love the mug….but, spilling the coffee was hysterical!!
Your imagination never ceases to amaze me. Such a cool project.
Hay nice job nick from madmax Melbourne Australia Victoria 👍👍👍👍👍🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺😎😎😎ps love your show s👏👏❤️❤️🤪
I used to love putting dad's old golf balls on the fire to watch the worms frazzle and squirm. 😅. Love the mug. It would make an amazing golf trophy (without the handle of course)😊
Best use of golf balls I've ever seen! Top job, Nick!
My FAVORITE project by far !!!!!! GREAT JOB NICK !!
As you were cutting the top, I thought, “those are going to go flying all over the shop.” Lol. Glad you got a shot of it.
Your sleeve looks awesome!! - loving the idea of making this mug with golf balls
Fourrrrr for when the balls came flying off. Glad you didn't get 🤕 hurt. Very cool mug. Your a hole in one 😂. Nick your funny 😂😅😂😊
😂! Shooting golf balls. Creepy, crawly stuff oozing out of a ball. Then steaming hot coffee spilling on your shirt! Please be careful😅. Who knows what craziness could happen next time. Another fun and whimsical project😊. Keep'em coming.
👍🤟the cup.
Cool project...it's always fun for us when surprises happen. Great job.
As someone who grew up on a golf course, this was an awesome project, and love to see your starting you other sleeve on your other arm, looks great sir!!!!
😂. You're mad & I love it. Great video. 👏😁
When I was little, my grandfather's neighbor up the hill and across the road, used to hit golf balls into his yard. He said we could keep them. we had 100's! Of course we broke them open. They all had the same beige rubber band wound around a bouncy core. It's cool there's more colors now!!
So like at first I was like I don't think it will work out but after seeing the inside I was like man that's really cool
I also prefer my coffee to come in a bucket 😉 Nice project, the worm was interesting ❤
Am I first?!? Awesome… love Nick and his work!
This turned out brilliantly ! So question : Is there food safe resin ? I would just worry about the insides of the golf balls.
That's what I was thinking, too! I can't imagine that golf balls are made to be good safe. 😂
My thoughts were "That's probably toxic inside those golf balls." 😢 It'll make for a nice pen holder or novelty piece. 😋
That was a fun make Nick. 🤗 But then again you make all your videos enjoyable to watch. Blessings to you and yours. 🙏🏽
Love the Sports Almanac tattoo!!
I cannot believe how clear that is! This video was pretty golden. Has the horror, spills, and thrills!
Great video. maybe if you put a coating of resin on the inside it could be a usable coffee cup. Talk To Peter Finch or Rick Shiels, both UA-cam golf channels, that would be cool to do a crossover with either of them
This idea is a hole in one! Your upload is par for the course! Gimme another one! Are my puns caddy? Come on, somebody else join the club here.
Lovely, jubbly, with no bubbly
Definitely one of your finest creations top 10 in the arena of golf ⛳️ ☕️ 🏌️♂️ ❤
This is an amazing coffee mug. I am a collector of coffee mugs. This would be a great addition.
Always good to see your mug. Uploads here are always good to see! Great fun on the project, too!
That was pretty cool. Glad to see you doing the kind of projects I enjoy seeing you make.
That’s awesome!!! My dad would love that mug!!! Stay funky and weird!
The worm was hilarious but the coffee mug is really cute. Good job Nick.
Great mug! You made me smile
Definitely a hole in one! Love both your mugs ❤
Maybe make one with golf tees, match it up with the ball cup.
My mother play golf. It will be a beautyfull gift for her ❤
That is awesome turned out beautiful
Your vids are so much fun! Thank you Nick!
That came out really cool. Maybe you could put a thin coat of resin on the inside to cover the golf balls so it's non-toxic. Thanks for sharing.
The best use I’ve ever seen for golf balls
😂😂 oh the spill love it.
Creativity of Nick's never stops me amazining :)
WOW!! That was crazy chaotic creativeness. Cool mug!!!😉
❤ your projects!
That was a weird, weird oozing golf ball😮
That rubber band thing was freaky 😱 Ace cup though 😊
Cool! Golfers dream coffee cup!
Thanks for giving us a good look at your arm. Cool Michael J Fox tat 💕
I'm surprised that you didn't cut the top off with a saw, but it was fun to see the golf ball explosion, especially in slow mo. I was thinking that you should use some golf balls as a handle, then you turned around and did it! Ahhhh! Nick is in me brain!
Cute little project and I'm glad that you pointed out it's most likely not food safe and that you drinking a few sips from the mug was just for show.
Keep up the great work ❤️ from 🇺🇲
That choice took some balls. And it turned out so cool!!
I wonder how many woodturners throughout history have been hit with golf balls while turning!! 😂
Очень интересно 😊👍
The emblem on the bottom lol I feel like that was meant for me . Thanks again for sending that Nick
This is why I hate being busy, I always miss your videos when they come out. At least I got to see it. May the force be with ya. 😁
Love this one! My late dad would have wanted it for his collection!
Oh my gosh I laughed so much I cried when you tilted the mug and coffee went everywhere just the look on your face was priceless 😂😂😂😂
As usual another great video!!! My brother has worked in the golf industry his entire life. ( he is now retired) He would so love this!! Thanks for another fun video!!
