Mr. Provenzano has a nice rig! Its a far cry from an Italian sports car!
Sorry for the basic question but where do you sleep? I didn’t see any sort of a pulldown bed, etc..
I have the same question….
That's one of the great things about the Alu-Cab, the bed platform pushes up and away so far that it creates a huge standing area in the camper. There is a pull down bed platform with an extra smaller pull down that you can keep up to crawl into bed, then put it down (if you're over 6'4", otherwise that's not needed.
@@JuniperOverlandbeen cool to see how you set that up. I’m curious as well.
Liked that window setup, and the fact they’re marine grade.
It's a great addition, and we like that some of them open to the inside!
🔥🔥🔥
would like to see a video with the beds sometime thanks
You got it! Next video will cover the sleeping area more
No rock sliders?
Was the payload capacity changed? Better/Worse? I have a 2017 PW and when I'm fully loaded and have a RTT it can seem like a death trap at highway speeds. I have been looking for a better setup for suspension. Thanks and keep up the great work.
Great question for Josh. I am considering PW overland build. The bed capacity is an issue with only about ~1500lbs legally supported. I feel like a nice setup like this one really pushes you to a Ram 3500 to stay in gov/insurance compliance. I did pause the video at the rear view under belly scene, there looks to be quite a bit of modifications to the rear suspension. I am also guess with Carli arms up front, no aticulink maybe too. All of which probably eliminates the stock PW suspension, hence, no death ride for handling especially on windy days. We live in a litigious world now, the PW comes with a warning in the glove box about slide ins… lawyers might have a field day with billing you on arguing about the alucab. Shout out to Juniper, beautiful build. Would love to get insight please on overcoming the PW shortcomings. Ty!
“Shocks are valved exactly for it…upgraded steering stabilizer…high capacity coils.” Sounds like they spoke with Carli to ensure the new system was sufficient. This is my kind of build 🔥
And it has rear airbags on top of that. No payload issues here 👍🏽
Carli my Friend they have different rear coils and airbags for the added weight. Call CJC off road they have extensive knowledge on these trucks and builds and can steer you in the right direction.
👍🏻👍🏻👌👌👌
I would love to have this setup on my Power Wagon, how can I get a quote?
Shoot us an email at info@juniperoverland.com and we can help you with that quote!
Looks great. Any reason to not use the CJC Offroad fog light kit?
No reason! Just used the Baja Designs kit instead.
Heater chimney that close to a fuel tank on the outside is kind of terrifying but nice rig overall
Heat isn't going to cause an issue with diesel.....
This is awesome. How miuch does something like this on cost?
How much does this all cost if I bring my power wagon?
This cost around $100k for all parts and labor
37's and an 800 lbs load on a PW. How is the Hemi, gearing and braking doing with that mass?
The truck came to us with a brake upgrade already installed, but our customers tend to be cautious drivers that leave lots of extra room for braking. I doubt anyone thinks they're driving a sports car here! 😄
How much does that weigh? I'd be concerned about the payload being taken up since the power wagons have such terrible capacities.
It wasn't weighed after install but we'd estimate the camper portion to be around ~700-800 lbs
I really hope that one day they show the sleeping area in a video, I don't understand why they never do it... what would be the logic of not showing this?
The Alu-Cab camper and its sleeping area are pretty thoroughly covered on UA-cam and since we didn't do anything special in the bed area, we chose to skip over it. But the next video will have a very in-depth tour of the sleeping area, just for you!
Very nice build! What year is this Power Wagon?
Brand new 2024
There is no way this thing weighs below 8565 lbs.
I dont see why not. My 2022 2500 is on a 4.5" lift with aftermarket bumpers on 37s and weighs about 7150lbs give or take. That cab in the back is aluminum so it shouldn't be that heavy. Throw in an extra 150lbs for power wagon protection plating and it's probably around 8000lbs. The stuff that probably adds a lot is all those invertors and batteries lol.
J. O. Salesman really did a number on Mr. Deep Pockets.
We built what the customer asked for and feel very blessed that they chose us for the job 👍
Some can play, some can’t. Don’t hate!
Don't hate on people with money, they might benefit you one day. I just bought a lightly used 2022 Power Wagon with only 16,000 miles and $30,000 (I have the receipts) in accessories for $58,000. It seems the gentleman wanted a diesel after all so after spending $104,000 on his truck he traded it in on a Rebel after two years. I was lucky to be the first at the dealership as there was a stampede right behind me to get it. I thank God for rich people if I can get deals like this.
