Thanks for doing this. I’m interested in seeing if your cage placement works well. With the tightness of those rear posts to the rear bumper, there isn’t much forward/back adjustment. I was thinking they weren’t tucked in that tight on the build guide, but that sure would help with alignment if you just a make them as close as possible.
Yeah the build guide said to get those cage poles as close to the body as possible but that’s a little bit too close. I think I actually notched the bumper brackets after this video, and set it back about a 1/2”-1”
My doors seem like they will line up OK but I’m focusing on getting the main body set exactly where it needs to go first. I’m still setting the doors on briefly just to see how it’s gonna go but I’m also leaving the rocker panels loose so I can do those later.
@@latenightdiy1496 we threw the body on and then put the wheels and suspension on to see exactly where the body wanted to sit that was super easy and everything started lining up after that

I just wish I could get the freaking thing to start. It was running so good until the other night. Now I can’t even turn the ignition. 😭
@@latenightdiy1496 did you cut or disconnect anything?
So where are you on it now?
Just got the body bonded to the chassis, fitting doors and other body panels now. Also building out the window systems for the doors as well.
HAHAHAHA thats kind a surprise
