- I really enjoy making characters lately and this is the newest addition with a bit of a cyberpunk twist :) Meet Stan the Scientist. I try to keep the modeling simple and focus on the cartoon style. What do you think?

People are amazed by the way you started with just a shape and completed with a crazy man like you.
I am a beginner with lot of aspiring dreams...but often I am lost and loose hope...your emails with constructive work and tutorials keep me going...pls keep doing this as you inspire me..all I can say is a simple thank you 😀

@@ArunG273 maybe it gives him inspiration, maybe it is something he wants to pursue one day and look out for, maybe it is something he wants to start creating as soon as he gets better and maybe this is the one thing he is holding onto, so that when he gets back home, healthy, he can continue with his wish of being a great 3D designer. Positivity, pass it on, it is by far the best medicine.

it looks much better than very low poly ))) cartoon style cool) And video when you replicate the scene from matrix, car looks godest good, much better than Corben's or other very low poly. That low poly style is awsome! Thank you!
Wow! UA-cam is not favoring you my friend. You came into my mind after seeing a comment asking how to make a low poly spaceship. I thought to myself it's been a long time since youtube has recommended me a video from you, even though I'm subbed. I couldn't remember your channel name so I searched blender speed modelling and couldn't find you then I searched the same but it low poly at the end and I had to scroll waaaay down to find you.

Did you join all objects before rigging process or just rigging them manually? I kinda have problem with rigging since the body & clothes always bend in different weight

What addons do you use? Is that BoolTool. I don't see you applying the boolean modifier on anything.
Yes, it's bool tool. And if I don't need to, I don't apply them

select the faces you want, shift+d, scale slightly, shape the coat. then add solidify for thickness.

QUESTION: Is it alright to have triangles in your topology? (I saw him make some triangles instead of quads)
It's okay to have whatever you want as long as it doesn't get in the way of getting the desired result ;)
Animation is not really my strong suite. I would love to see some commentary animating tutorials on some simple characters. Regardless, you are doing brilliant work.

That's a shear command, after pressing the keys you choose the X or Y axis to shear along

Is this modelling requires retopology
Not really, the model is made fairly lowpoly, thought I applied the first level of subdivision to have better deformations with the armature. I use on more level of subdivision on render to make it smooth, but it can be turned off and animated in lowpoly. There are few details that would need simplifying or baking though

It would be really hard to narrate 10 hours of process weekly. I create commented videos every other week, but I create almost 2 unique designs every week and record the process.
