Recipe for really good liver from crete in greece: savor liver: cut the liver into bite sizes and wash it well, then dip it into flour, and fry it in a skillet with olive oil on both sides, not too much oil in the skilket, do not cook it for too long, probs like 3 mins per side. Then finishit off by putting rosemary and some vinegar to glaze it. Keep it on heat for a while to deglaze and you are ready. Serve it as is with some of the juice and a slice of lemon.

Liver is NOT the kind of food you just "salt and pepper to taste fry in butter and drizzle with olive oil" There's a certified way to eat it.

As I remembered in my country, Pork liver were stir fry with some sweet sauce and garlic or clean and boiled then add in to the porridge. Chicken liver were grilled and brushed some kind of sweet mix sauce and garlic. Those are more palette able for me.

I like spam with honey-mustard on it and it's really easy to prepare. You literally just take some honey and some mustard, mix them together roughly equally, make small slices in the top of the spam so the honey mustard stays on better, pour it on, microwave it until hot, cut into slices, and eat.
There are two proper ways to cook liver: - Mild: soaked it in buttermilk or yogurts, marinate with garlic or spices and cook it slow till soft. -Full metal: only marinate with garlic and spices, fry it hard and have it with bread or rice. If you undercooked it, you risk having the grime and the natural nasty taste in your liver.
ATP I don't take people seriously if they say they hate it but still eat an obscene amount of other candies. It's just a sugary sweet as cotton candy or snow cones, texture depends on brand and, frankly, some of these people sound like they tried expired candy corn and no duh they hated it. It shouldn't crumble in your mouth or be overtly sticky. If it is, it's old AF.

Liver is really yummy, especially when cooked correctly. Liver tends to be bitter if not cooked correctly so for those who don't know how too cook liver straight from the packaging, i suggest you soak it overnight in some milk to seep most of that bitter out and then add it to a hot pan with onions and garlic to help break down the liver further and then you want to make sure your liver is a 100% cooked through and how to check is by simply pushing your wooden spoon on a piece and it should break in half without a problem. I'd also sugest adding small amounts of water or stock to the liver to keep it from drying out because liver does dry quickly when being cooked. The rest is all up to you and how you want to use it afterwards, i enjoy having my livers cooked in a type of chilli curry sauce but you can make it anyway you like.😊
Also make sure to go through it and trim it first, if you buy it from a butcher at least, often times it still has a lot of connective tissue on there that can be quite chewy and it doesnt break down when cooked. Or you can ask the butcher to clean it up for you but they may nto do it every time
Black liquorice is really nice just not too everyone, it's kind of an acquired taste and not that sweet but it is really nice imo) I would recommend you try blackjacks (idk if that's only a British thing or not but try it if you can)

Where I live we don’t season the liver we just cook it and I learned to make the blood more like the seasoning so it tastes good

Black liquorice is really nice just not too everyone, it's kind of an acquired taste and not that sweet but it is really nice imo)

I used to dislike the taste of liver as well, but at some point my mom started cooking it with an apple and honey sauce and since then I actually really enjoy eating liver :3
