  • Antiphospholipid syndrome or Hughes syndrome is a syndrome that involves arterial and venous thrombosis with prominent manifestations involving the brain. This great mimic can present with psychiatric disorders and some of the clues are migraines, mini-strokes, miscarriages, livedo, etc. It is important for psychiatrists to be on the lookout for this syndrome as missing the diagnosis can have devastating consequences for the patient.

    OMG,,, I've had APS lupus anticoagulant for eleven years and you just confirmed what I have always said... Everything that's wrong with me. ( all the diagnosis and different specialist) . It's all APS
