Have to hand it to you ricardo, i started my skate journey in january 2022 and its been amazing having someone as dedicated to the craft as yourself to help me through it with tutorials and skate reviews. Thanks man!
I, without even especially looking for it, only bought USD product since I started skating. USD Universal (Those indestructible Tank skates) Xjados, Carbon and now Sways but oversize. It would be my first hardshell Boot after 12 years, should I go again with sways? One guy offered me Razors here for 100.but that company has some bad rep
Bought the usd sway team 60 last December to get back into skating at niw 41 years old. Thanks to rhis video i realized i need to get the intuition or 2ndSkin liners to make them a bit thinner inside. Have size 43/44 but they feel narrow on the outsides of my feet. Bought some aftermarket 45 degree velcro straps because doing the hockey lacing technique doesn't feel tight enough. Haven't had a chance to really go skating (we had rain and freezing temps in the Netherlands). Buuuut, i put them on and skated away like it was yesterday. Yesterday was 20 years ago lol.
Your experience with this boot is mine as well, except I determined I couldn't really downsize into the 41-42 shell. My foot is also 27.5, and the closest I got to making it work was indeed the 2nd Skin (without 2nd Skins, I wouldn't be able to skate a couple shells that I use regularly). I like the width too, just a shame I'm stuck between those two shell sizes!
Ricardo first skates them stock.. films on them… than starts adding up and talks about his experience.. from stock to other parts.. anti-rocker .. flat.. been doing this way for over an year now . 🤷🏻♂️ Thanks for the comment anyway
I really like how in depth you go when talking about these and other skates. Keep up the good work! I'm completely new to aggressive rollerblading, I think USD Sway might be a good first aggresive skate. Are there any other skates anyone thinks I should consider?
@@RicardoLino I love the M12 with the my fit liners... i Will use the roces liners on my my sways 2000. I don't Know if that makes sense, but for my feet right now that is the solution... .🙂
I wish Kizer would make a medium Fluid 5 like they did with the fluid 4s. something along the 256-258mm range would be good for 41/42 - 43/44 boots instead of automatically going all the way up to the large 268/270mm that feel like Oysi mediums in length on smaller boots.
Is the new Grey Team better than this? Looking to grab my first skates as the Witzemann skates then i realise it is boots only. So looking at Grey Team now.
i tried to downsize my 27.5 and 28 cm foot to 42 shell on sway it doesn work for me. so i tired other models like Usd seven roman abrate. it works but liner is too padded and 2dn skin is too slim . but standart crowns in seven roman abrate doesnt work well . at the end im gonna buy intuition or rb blank . very nice video. lots of technical info . thanks 4 this.
They are amazing skates. The only thing that I found a little bit strange is the same as you mentioned: It is truly difficult to find a liner that fits perfect to this shell (some makes them too tight others too wide)...😅PS: I think that the problem is, that the heelbox is tighter than the toebox (the ratio is in my eyes not perfect at the moment). And this creates the fit-problem with the liners. You can still skate them, but if they make the heelbox just a couple of mm wider then it would solve probably that fit-problem because the width of the shell is then better balanced. But performance-wise concerning flex, grind-feeling, powertransfer etc. they are really amazing.
great content as usual, but i think you spent quite a lot of time talking about the Witzeman insteadof reviewing the Carlos Bernal, not really fair (even if the expectations around Witzeman are really high). My foot is also 275mm, I can downsize the mesmers (with forys liners, and barely with fr intuition), the razors SL, but here, it sounds difficult to downsize this boot outside of the 2nd skin. Do you think it is possible to downside on the long term?
I like both both simplifying it for me .. blanks amazing fir flat but heavy.. sways better for anti rocker but still work really good flat and much lighter…. Rb usually have better Finnishing but can’t complain about sways
Is the UFS receptor really aluminum? all of the ufr receptors i had in my skates were steel. They rustet over the time from my sweat. Also you would have so called contactcorrosion between the steel bolts and an aluminum receptor witch is similar to rust causing the UFS bolt to be so tight, you couldnt open it up after some time.
Skated the team sways in a 43 - 44 my foot being 275, due to pressure points in the width of the shell i ended up swapping to 2nd skin liner, bad idea since i was the bottom of the shell size my foot and liner had a lot of space to move within the shell, a lot of people at the bottom of the shell size are going to have a bad time skating these skates with this liner.
💙
Wore Sways for almost 5 years now. Felt great with the FLT4 ✌️

Sways are the best overall modern skate available rn. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

The new team sway is made with a much harder plastic to reduce the forward flex usd has fixed the problem
Ricardo always changes everything on the skates and then he reviews them 😂😂

@@RicardoLino I know I know….😊
Sways with a crown liner just work so well for me. Such a good skate.
I feel the crowns too thick on the top for me… but can imagine loads of people loving them like that 👌🏻👌🏻

Do you ever change those stock bearings? I'm always running spitfire burners ❤️🔥
I love the sways but my favourite setup right Now is Roces M12 Grant Haselton with My Fit Liners Nick Limax.
M12 are such a classic but SO GOOD 🏆❤️

Just got my aggressive skates and took them to the park yesterday, they're amazing! Nice video btw I've been a fan for a while!
What skates did u get?

Any suggestions on a first aggressive skate?

Did you ever end up trying the 41/42 Mesmer? Wonder how your toe bang experience compares on those.
Make a video about the one Long lacing
Great video. I'm trying to decide between the rollerblade blank or the USD sway. Anyone have any recommendations? Thank you

Honestly I should confirm this.. I may be wrong. Let me check this Monday 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I’ve seen various current models USD/ Powersldie brand skates including Sways have their receptors rust

Hello Ricardo, you have lovely ungrabbed backslides 👍
