I am no barber, but I do think everything about that hair cut was spot on, except, the top cut looked too much like a mushroom cap sitting on top of his head. Maybe, if the outer edge of the overhang was not so deep, like a inch closer to the side and back of his head, then, the top would have conformed a bit nicer to the shape of the kids head. Not to be misunderstood here, I think the hair cut was 1000 percent improved from when he walked in the door. Maybe you have just invented a new style called, the mushroom cap, after all, there are many, many styles of real mushrooms to draw inspiration from. Who knows, you might just start a trend.
