This is.. Insane. I spent so many years watching the Shaytards. Back when your names were all kept under lock and key. Those days and then some! Up until your dad made the announcement they're parting ways with vlogging, or slowing down the daily vlogs. Your family created the word vlog, your family have been absolute trail blazers on this platform. The Butlers have left such an imprint on UA-cam that will last. Its so great to see everyone growing up and doing so good for theirselves. 🥰🥰🥰

MEXICO!!!❤️😭 HE SO GONNA HAVE SO MUCH !! Mexico is the best !!🥰 just went in April and it was amazing 🤩 he gonna be so excited I hope he does learn Spanish cause its amazing out there
Avia your videos always make my day so much! I love it so much. It always makes me smile 😊 you are such a light in my life thank you for everything! ❤️
Have y’all ever done research on the damage and effects of missionary works in non white majority countries especially? I’m curious the rational behind it outside of a religious perspective. Like if someone from Islam were to go to Utah and do the same ? Also, how will Avia fair in the entertainment industry. Wouldn’t what a lot of they do be the opposite of what her church preaches ?
The lateral saints have an extra bible that is not from God. The Holy Bible is the one to keep in our hearts. Sad, but Gavin is a great guy and I know He will inspire a lot of people.
As someone who doesn't believe in God, I respect your religion and your faith, so I ask that you respect mine when it comes to what I believe in. I have seen a few of these videos of people get their placements for missions on Tiktok and now this one. The reason I bring this up and the reason why I comment is to gain clarity on why churches do this? I mean this in the most respectful way possible, but what I never understood is why a church in a different country will send people to another country to "teach their ways." I respect the devotion and dedication these kids have to their faith and their church, but two years away to teach a foreign country the way of a church in Utah, doesn't make sense to me. Can someone please walk me through it.
People have free will, why would a mission change that? Nobody is forced to do anything or partake in something they do not wish to partake in. Also missionary work is not forcing your religion onto people, it’s creating a positive impact on a community, be that building schools, bath houses, or just about anything which will serve a community. If people in those communities decide that the Church has left such a positive impact in their lives that they wish to join it, why shouldn’t they?
I really enjoyed this video, so exciting yet a little sad. Avía, I love how you kept guessing like every location ever and then go ‘and if he goes there I told you so!’ 😂💖
@@kara1460 lets not forget hypocrisy too..remember shay went on a mission for 2 years but that didn't stop him from cheating and doing all kind of drugs and drinking later in life
to be fair we don't know if they haven't questioned it, sometimes people avoid posting those thoughts on the internet knowing the backlash they'll get from family/friends who are very religious
The church can pay for missions if an individual cannot afford the expenses on their own. Each ward has a “mission fund” that members can donate too Of course it is encouraged for all missionaries to try and save as much money as needed for their missions on their own.
Can you imagine people coming to America from other countries to try and recruit our people to their religion?? That would not go over very well in this country. It amazes me that Christrians think this kind of thing is okay.
Since they are in pairs. It's guy guy pairs, or girl girl pairs of missionaries. And you can go at any age. I live in Canada and we had female missionaries who were 17 to 25 within about 6 years. From Utah and Idaho mostly. One was from France. As well as guys of various ages. I think South Park does a good job of a explaining the religion. Just a curious question. Who pays for Gavins way on a Mission? The Church? I assume his parents pay for his expenses though. Anyone know?
yeah ..shay has to pay ..the church pay zero but takes in millions

do your parents force you to be mormon? or do you have a choice?

Do girls do missions too or is it only boys? congrats Gavin and I hope he enjoys this new chapter!
So it’s expected of all men to go on one and like optional for girls. But I have heard it’s becoming more popular for girls to go!
Girls can go on missions. Klai from Ohana adventures is going on one, so it's definitely allowed for both genders.
Thanks for the answers!
Only if you’re not already married off at 13yrs
