Love this!! Only thing I could think of would be to add a row or 2 of pavers maybe around the sides to help keep more dirt out but honestly ducks are just messy anyway so may not do any bit of good lol.
Love the shut off valve idea so you don't have to stick your hand in the water! I'm going to do that when I get ducks for sure. I'm also going to do water catchment to help with the water cost and water my fruit trees and veg beds with the water that drains out.

Do ducks need the tub cleaned and filled EVERY day? I don't know much about ducks but I'm interested in how they're called for and if you raise them for eggs, meat, or fun.
