nah if he did that it would just be a yonkers clone lmao. 99% of people who try to remake tyler's sound fail, cause it's so fuckin unique and people dont wanna go outside the box.
Hey J. Rent, I am a random 16 y.o guy from Turkey -my nick means "life sucks" in Turkish btw- and I have learned lots of things from you. Thanks to you I am working with rappers right now. You are a hero who doesn't wear a cape. All I need is find a producer name. You started my music career. You changed something in world, something in future. Thank you for changing it.
mannn this is so good! is it possible if you can share tips for writing? maybe your writing process. It would be really cool to hear some knowledge from someone with more experience.
Been waiting for this since the first part. Also, I might be wrong, but as I know, Memphis Trap is called like it because it has Memphis rap vocals repeating every verse of the beat and the intro as well. A good example of Memphis Trap is (Suicide Boys - FuckAllOfYou2k18, Shakewell & Ramirez - Be A Witness). There's a free vocal pack called "Memphis Vocals Gold" out there and with a lil bit of search you will be able to find it. It's pretty handy for such situations. I would like to see it in part 3. Oh and, if your budget allows you, afford a small compact but powerful pc instead of a laptop. Laptops have been always weak under the price of 600-700. And a pc near that range can be way more powerful. Just make sure it's custom made (you'll pick the parts and build it. It's easy with a UA-cam tutorial. Good luck chief.
@@Joe-ot5bo nah bro. This that Memphis pimpin sound. In the M, we killin and pimpin at the same time brother. Now I'm not sitting here saying that this track completely does Memphis a huge favor, but its dope. It captures that Ball and G feel. Hey props to whoever made this nice try. And @joe especially nice try.shits tight, and does have a Beale Street MEMPHIS vibe. Quit hatin shits dope way better than the radio for real
@@Joe-ot5bo no offense but where you from. I know you ain't from Memphis or anywhere near. this sound was extra Memphis even before 9 lil mm boys. Do you even know that junt?
This beat is great, Only thing I’d recommend is if you keep showcasing the beats with rap is that you get more into the vibe of what memphis rap (or any other genre) sounds like, They have a specific flow and cadences just like any other regional genre and it would show the bounce of the beat alot better. Sounds great though love these tutorials
can you do something in John Mello style you should especially focus on his insane drum patterns. You can look after songs like afterlife by brennan savage or come around by peep
Before anything J.Rent, amazing like always, fire, fire, fire¡ I love the part when you play the melody in arcade, it's amazing this vst, and the variety of sounds are from another world. Fire like always the bars are from another galaxy!! Idk maybe it's to strange o risky but i send you a DM in facebook, maybe you can check it out? And thanks! like always AMAZING WORK
Very cool tutorial, can’t wait for you to upload that beat,Memphis Rap/Phonk music is experimental style of Soutren Hip Hop,in the early 90’s in Memphis,USA,like Three 6 Mafia and all these guys ,Artists like Ghostemane,Suicide Boy$,Denzel Curry, and more use that kinda style.and sometimes sub-genre of horrorcore.
Aye J. rent I saw that you were gonna be looking into some other style and was wondering of you have looked into the Hyphy movement. It was birthed in the Sacramento, Oakland, and Bay Areas of California. It started to take off when artists like Mac Dre and Keak Da Sneak introduced a new production and lyrical style to West Coast music. The started rapping with a cocky, goofy and petty cadence on beats that made anyone nounce. Terms like "get stupid" and "going dumb" originated from this style. If you want to look more into it some good reference songs are: Thizz Dance- Mac Dre& Sumthin Terrible, Get Stupid (Remix)- Mac Dre, Feelin Myself- Keak Da Sneak& Mac Dre, It's A Slumper- Turf Talk, Crystal- P-Lo& SOB X RBE, Put Me on Somethin'- P-Lo.
p4rkr would be sick to make a tutorial on! it’s such a different style then any other genre, could really show people how to not be follow the what the Industry is doing
All I could focus on was his CPU.
😂
you made me go back and watch his CPU now
same i was like oh no....dont overheat!
memphis rap is actually the earliest form of trap music. so we can thank them for the music we have today
Agreed
this makes me want to watch a "from scratch: devilish trio"
hell yes
ooof some "how to kryptic stylez"
I would pay with my soul to see that fr
yesss

*2nd day asking rent for a “how to Tyler the creator”*
oh, this is cool, i've heard it a couple of times
It isn't possible, humans aren't capable of reaching his expertise
Dries Verhaag you got a mf point, but they can come close😤
nah if he did that it would just be a yonkers clone lmao. 99% of people who try to remake tyler's sound fail, cause it's so fuckin unique and people dont wanna go outside the box.
and if its anything else then its gonna be ass
U needa do ASAP rocky
Depending on the era It's pretty much this with New York Influences and a hint of Floridan.

ua-cam.com/video/XBh-tbsaItA/v-deo.html Memphis sample I produced and rapped on
This is perfect except youre missing vocal effects that are either demonic or ghastly sounding. That or squeezed or screwed like sample.
Not in all Memphis productions there are totaly screwed vocals but yes maybe it could be add it and will sound more good.
Re-do $uicideBoy$ tutorial? that would be nice
