- Yep, it's 2016 but there ARE some gamers who will never forget about Brave Fencer Musashi.
Title says it all: this vid shows the different combinations of each band member and their instrument/s in Allucaneet Castle's orchestra.
I hope you enjoy listening to this nostalgic music in the game. :)

This game had everything! Humor, platforming, challenging gameplay, interesting game mechanics (stealing enemies abilities, saving characters has real in game impact, day and night cycles) quality voice acting, decent graphics for its time and an EPIC soundtrack!
Man, this game is a true classic! It deserves a reboot or a faithful remake.
Not to mention clothes changing as you got pieces of the legendary armor set. I think what really set the day night cycle apart for its time too was the fact that it actually mattered. Most of the time you play an open world RPG with day night cycle and it pretty much doesn't affect anything, which feels like a wasted opportunity. At least in that game it worked by having some stuff open only during the day, some other events only happen at night, etc.

"Sir musashi, why hath thou come hither" XD
Taketh care on your journey!
sir blazingscore004, check out my musashi gameplay series if you hath the time, from a fan
Will do, sir! But it will be not at this exact moment. :)
thanx bro! i mean thank you sir blazingscore, good lucketh!!
Catcheth thou aroundeth! xD
When I first freed the flutist and went back to the castle, I was so shocked to find that the music had actually added a flute! This was the very first game I played that changed the music like that, and I thought it was so damn awesome!
I recommend to you, read about Mindfulness, and use it for music, it will help you to separate each instrument track on ALL songs.. I use it for all my videogames music, and this in special, it has a special place in my heart!
We need a remaster on PS4. Everyone else is doing it
Ever since the the ps2 sequel received poor reception, this franchise was dulled down on its future potential. But I blame it on its story and the gameplay, and the word 'sequel' wont fit its description.I'd say more its more of a spiritual sequel. With today's HD gfx and memory, even if they remade this game with its original ost,I'll buy a PS4 just to play it.Straight pre-order!!
They are too worried about shoving final fantasy seven down our fucking throats to care about remaking an actually good game.
Rumors But yeah the one for PS2 was an epic fail, they should've kept the original characters and cast and gave us a new villain
I really agree with that opinion. Since it was a remake of FF7, Musashiden also wants to remake it!
Beautiful moments, i was poor kid, had a ps1 but my mom would only buy me one game a year, she got me musashi second hand and it was scratch so it wouldn’t get pass the entrance of the frost castle, i would wait for hours hoping one day it will, so i would just delete my data and start over. I love doing it again and again, i loved walking up at night in village and talking to the villagers, when i was 13 i started working and finally bought a good copy of musashi. Best rpg of my childhood, love that little samurai. I wanted to be like him.
We had similar experience! But in our case, it gets stuck after Soda Fountain Sky Scroll. My brother never got to finish it but I played it through emulator.
Ha nice. I remember it got stuck when I hopped in the hole the giant ant made in the vent. I remember I had to replay the whole game! I was too young to think of getting a memory card, but later I did.
Another story is one time I barely defeated one of the bosses, Ed or Ben, with enough health to move on to the next section. So Musashi went up on the elevator to the top of Soda Fountain with all the giant pigs walking around in the garden-looking area. I had only enough health for one hit, and I couldn’t get past that section, and again, no memory card, so I ended up having to replay the game again.
Got stuck twice. First was going down to the village during the fire. Bought a new CD. And THEN after that I got stuck at the Frost Palace entrance. It was insane, but I loved this game so much!
For over a year we didn't knew how to beat Dark Lumina - Finale using Fusion to assimilate and hit with Lumina.
i will never forget this game
Still playing it through emulator! :)
The same
liiroy for fucks sakes neither will I!!😎🔥👍👍
Im playing it right now. Still dope
You will never understand the feeling of finding this song again. It's like scratching an itch I could never reach before, or just finally drinking that cold drink after being so thirsty. I missed this soundtrack so much.
I can't believe that almost 20 years later since my brother played this I'm looking for the multiple combinations in musical instruments of the Allucaneet Palace staff.

Its interesting that this game was sort of teaching basics of musical harmony to kids back then through this.
聞くだけでゾクゾクする。感動しかない
I shed a tear.
It's been a while and I notice some of the peeps who were here before sometimes go back. :D
Thank you for everyone who watched and shared how much they loved this game. :)
Edit: After 2.5 years, finally the first dislike in this video has been given. xD
blazingscore004 needs to be remastered, would be AMAZING!!
My brother passed away this last December, he was only 27, I'm 19, and when I was a kid we'd stay up late and I'd watch him play this game and explain to me about this specific track and how the music progresses when you save the musicians, haha i didnt get it at the time but it became clear as I got older lol. The music hits me pretty damn hard, but I love it, it reminds me so much of him and it brings warmth to my heart. Thank you for uploading this! You're awesome!
A very touching story! :o
I'm happy to be able to provide that nostalgia. :)
blazingscore004 Alright man, you gotta tell me...did you upload the music that plays where you have to get the sky scroll?
The same hahah now 2018 but it's still best soundtrack , 20 y ago since 1998s

It took me until today to finally realise the name Allucaneet Palace is a pun on the term All-You-Can-Eat
and every ones names have to do with food. Princess filet , steward RIBSon, butler livers… lol
The entire OST brings so many good memories from my childhood, i hope kids nowadays feel the same with games from today in the future
Was just playing this last week. There are definitely gamers who won't forget it :)
I still have this game on the PS One, it's definitely one of the best action RPGs I've ever played! Great challenge to it too and out of the crest guardians, I'll never forget the Fire Crest Guardian! Favorite boss battle!
Nice to hear!
I don't even know how many times I've played this game. I can remember when we still have a PS1 (it was so old that usually SOME games won't load properly) and everytime we try to access Thirstquencher Empire it would freeze! Not long when I heard about emulators and that's how I finished the game.
My favorite guardian fight is the Earth one.
Skullpion!!!! XD Yeah some of my discs were scratched and last time I played, my game wouldn't load the Dark Lumina battle lol
Haha, know that feel. Back then we would do ANYTHING to make discs work. xD
Damn right we did!
i dono about you guys but i always had a 'thing' for bubbles and gingerelle.....at that young age.....damn XD

*sigh* I miss this game so much. My childhood was awesome. I remember playing this game back in the late 90's. Such great times...
Guitar+Flute+Drums & Pan Flute = *BEST PART*
Don't forget the violin!
This violin
God I missed this. and the way that the different combinations were used to build up to the climax of all four parts was pure aural bliss. Thanks for helping me remember one of my favorite games of all time.
I'm glad you like the vid! :)
It's still one of my favorite games of all time!
Some games just won't die, no? :)
A lot of PS1 games are like that.
Watching in 2018, this is a childhood treasure for me
the flute part from this song had been stuck in my head for the past 20 years since I last heard it. It's wonderful to hear it again after all this time, every bit as beautiful as I remember. - u -
The final combination, my head blew off.
So awesome! Nicely done with having a loop with each combination of instruments. This blew me away when I first noticed that the song subtly changed when I played it all those years ago. So glad I get to hear it with this degree of completeness, plus combinations I probably have never heard before. And nice job with the syncing of the video overlays and putting in the character portraits. Thanks for the great video.
Thanks and I'm glad you liked it! Creating this one was indeed enjoying. :)
At some point years ago I conceived of doing this, comparing or adding each of the soundtracks, but never had the know-how, so this is great! This is better than what I even imagined.
いつまでも聴いてられるゾ
that flute my god its so soothing best game i ever played for ps1
Yes. It is mostly the instrument that makes the song lively, although the drums is more of my favorite. So rhythmic! :)

Why don't more games do this? the technology to add and remove layers in music nowadays is so sophisticated that having multilayered songs like this one is basically child's play, and its such an awesome effect, yet this is one of three songs I've found in all my experience with videogame music that does this, and and this song did it so well so long ago that it actually irritates me that it hasn't been imitated to death. So ahead of its time!
then let it live, let it continue, may the song reach to those who are curious or to those who wish for a wonderful relic that is still muse to the future. thank you
Yo this game is absolutely in my top 5 of all time, crazy underrated
so Nostalgic.... this was my first PS1 game
First game I ever had. Got it second-hand in 2002. It remains my favorite game to this day.
This game really need a Remaster, I love it so much
This game is probably one of my favorites on the ps1 (or even all time). Thanks for uploading this!
It is just too much to forget. :) Am glad you like it
5:37 - Fawking old people in here .. Proud to be born on that generation ~ 😎😎😎

The violin actually gives me goosebump. Fantastic work 👏😄🥰
THANK YOU FOR UPLOADING THIS!!!
I really love that guitar in the background. It sounds so satifying.
Glad this was in my recommends. Totally forgot about this wonderful melody
brave fencer musashi and suikoden and legend of mana are my best.. this one is my fav from musashi. i always love how they add more music with every musicians but i always did it consequencely.. add flute, drum, violin.. and i wondered if i missed flute only or drum only.. and it's answered today xD thanks dude
Thanks for adding this! Great memories!
Ah yes i remember this as opening toy package theme. Good ol day.
You can save the musicians in different orders
Which is why for all the different possible combinations
Just thought of that while watching
Hey, thanks
That is correct! To be honest, while I was playing BFM through my emulator, I didn't talk with the musicians until I rescued them all, just for the sake of this video. :3
@@blazingscore004 that awesome
My personal favorite was the base theme with just the guitar, very calm and serene.
y don't have new version😣I love this game special soundtrack😍n skill with big sword, small sword, fun story beautiful village..finding ppl with music.😊wow that's excites feel.

所有的original soundtrack當中,最喜歡這一首了,謝謝分享
Hi! I did not completely understand what you said but thanks to Google Translate I had a slight idea about it.
Anyways, I'm glad you like my video. :)
just like him, thank you for upload this video, god bless you.
those 3 dislikes were mistaken for download button. Still one of the greatest BGM up til now
Lol 😂
Added to Favourites.
Thank you for the masterpiece
Thanks and you're welcome! :)
10/10 concept for a video. Thanks so much for sharing!
Hey this is awesome. I can tell there was a lot of care put into this and I would love to see more love for this game. This is my number one favorite game of all time and it gets so little attention. I've always wondered what the palace theme would sound like with each individual instrument. Thank you !
Thanks for the nice words! I am curious myself about the different sounds as well, that's why I decided to make this vid. BFM is also one of my fave games and I've played it soo many times already! :)
It's been a real pleasure to serve those who wanted to hear the music in different combos. :)
This made me smile :)
There's something different about this game, I can't just quite put my hand on what it is that makes it so special, which is funny because unlike the more popular rpg games (Final fantasies, Shenmue etc), I never actually finished this game as a boy.
I remember getting stuck at the part of the game where those weird monsters popped up at the town at night and I remember spending long amounts of time trying to find the solution and being upset about not finding it back then. I look forward to one day playing it again and finishing it completely for old times sake.
Vampees attack the town.I think you have to check the bar, not sure if you had to talk to someone first. It's been too long.
@@Ryo8761 Mostly correct. You have to talk to the two bar managers who are staying over at the hotel because of the Vambees infestation. They'll tell you about the secret underground entrance behind the counter, but only if you visit them while they're actually there. Then you just go back once it's night time and wait for a zombie to pop out, then swooce right in before the door shuts behind them.
Dude that's exactly what happened to me as a kid! I didn't find out until later that you have to somehow enter the bar which was built over a temple or something where the relics keeper is (I think that's what it was called). Anyway, years later I finally beat the game and loved every second of it.
@@LOP4795 It is quite an amazing game. I play through it twice a year.
why this game has been able to fascinate people for so long time? What do you think?
In my opinion this game is great in a lot of aspects. From gameplay, story, details, music, and more. Truly a masterpiece. :)
Brave Fencer Musashi was one of those unique games where if you want to listen to the full theme of Allucannet Palace then you need to go FIND THEM YOUR FUCKEN SELF!
This deserves a million more views.
2023 ❤ lets not forgot this hidden gem
Interestingly, if you get this track in its original minipsf format, it only comes with the starting guitar and nothing else. Glad to see someone went through the trouble of getting each variation one by one. Good stuff. Shame they never made a decent sequel to it. (Threads of Fate was a neat spiritual semi-successor though, but let's not talk about Samurai Legend.)
Straight to my favorites, thanks!
No. Thank YOU! ;)
2020 still here. Such memories
hearing this again makes me rethink how old iam today hope this game gets a remake
I'm not a fan of action RPG, but this game and Vagrant Story are some of the best games for the PS1.
This video deserves more like!!
This bring back my gooooood oooolll days :'
hello, after 3 years, I AM BACK!!
This isn't my favorite game ever, but it's definitely high on the list, along with games like Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Twisted Metal 2, A Link to the Past, Seiken Densetsu 3, and Crash Bandicoot. I miss this era of gaming...
Yes. Most of the PS1 games are the reason why I'm a dedicated gamer now. :) What would you think if they ever decided to remaster BFM?
I would pay 60 bucks for remaster with same OST (enhanced), Better graphic qualities, better voice actor, more features.
It doesnt have to be big, Just Adventure , Puzzle , Complex , Action , Story Rich.
Sounds good for me :)
M Dwi Kurnia L Bowi Most definetly! There was a sequel of this game on PS2, they saoule have gone instead for a remaster!
Nintendo Kid spyro the dragon
My tears. I. Really love this game
God Bless You, Sir!!!
just remember that all these was sampled sound played using Synth by Sekito Tsuyoshi
Proud to be like #1000 on this gem of a song
beautiful
very nice vid BS004!
Still forever one of my favorite games, I still have the disc just no psx to play on 😭
Thank you so much sir
Brave Fencer Musashi & Genso Suikoden II. The best game i've ever played all the time.
This game is the first RPG I've played on PS one.
I think it was the same for me! I've seen final fantasy games before but i never really got interested to them as a kid.
The story in this game got me hooked, and even copied my brother's save files so I can play it on my own.
Ah, the memories..
blazingscore004 before I played Musashi, I always play Winning Eleven, Harvest Moon, and other arcade games.
Well, because of this game, I started to love RPG genre, especially Final Fantasy.
Ah, harvest moon. I was too young to even understand that game lol. The first and only one i played was HoLV, the one in the PSP. :D
Winning eleven idk xD
Man games like these need reboots and make come backs.
Bravo! Encore!
I love this game and this music
I'm mad that I never thought of talking to the musicians in different orders to get different combinations lol. I always talked talked to them in the order you rescue them.
Time to replaying this game
20 years of musashi !!!!!!!!
quite incredible
Awwwww :3 right in the feels
one of the soundtrack of my childhood
Nostalgic as hell...
It's also nostalgic as heaven. ;)
2016? its 2021 and im still listening all musashi ost. man square really left this game . kinda sad. lot of potential like legend of zelda.
this makes me forget being depressed.
I am very pleased to be of some help!
Please, whatever you are going through, stay strong! :)
Often, or throughout my life, say once a year at least or so, I’ll have a dream that I’m playing Musashi (but I am on the screen as him-?), and I’m at the end of the game, and I discover a new, hidden level, and it’s always really fun, and then I wake up disappointed that it was only a dream. I guess it stems from that rumor that there was a secret cinematic ending, but if you get Perfect at the end with that picture, there is no proof of a secret ending. That’s just a myth. Anyway, anyone else have any similar experience?
Wow, that's a very interesting story. I think I've had a few dreams that involved video games but they were far back when I was young so I can't remember a lot. One of them involved a silent protagonist that actually spoke. He used the same voice as a different NPC in the game. A bit funny, now that I think of it, haha!
@ppf you should work on this one. Might be up your alley.
How could you forget a game like this ? Zelda's got nothing on Musashi to be completely honest.
to be exact theres less than 1% game that actually have BFM offered.
Agreed. I get so bored playing OOT. This I can do in a sitting.
I too, love this game so much! Very superior to Zelda!
This game make me getting turned off from playing other games tbh...
I've like Finished this game 4 times in my lifetime and never once get bored of it, while I actually get bored of masterpiece games (like FF, Legend of Zelda) easily and not finishing it
