I'm pretty surprised there hasn't been an orchestra that has arranged and performed this yet. There are a number of songs on this soundtrack that would translate really well into live performances.
dynamicsketch nice detail about that times theology and clever way to tie it with gaming at the same time. Gonna give this game a go for sure. The 90s man, the passion and extra attention to detail of that period no longer exists unfortunately. What a unique period for art.
This was quite possibly one of the best games on the PSX, in my opinion. Comfortable learning curve, epic boss battles, cool power-ups gained from enemies, great voice acting, cool story, EPIC music... This game had it all. I can do without top of the line graphics from today's games, as long as they are as much as a blast to play as this was.
this is one of my favorite playstation games...i remember first finding the demo on one of those demo discs that used to come out like every month or whatever...great game...back when every game that came out of square was gold
It's very easy to remember all of the character names and places, considering the fact that they all have a relation to food! lmao Princess Fillet, Stewart ribson, to name a few
I fell in love with this game a long time ago, and I think it's good as it is. It doesn't need a remake. Besides, I bet the remake would be worse than the original, much like how that Musashi: Samurai Legend game turned out.
It's not the same track (I don't know if someone else already said this), although it's the same piece, the first time it appears on the soundtrack, it is the looped version, and this, being the last track on the set, I would call the official orchestral version, coming to a proper end, and having different sections than the looped version had.
That's interesting. I guess we have different values since I wouldn't buy a remake if Square Enix did release one =p It would just be an attempt to milk money from the fans without producing anything new for the gaming community. I'd rather experience a brand new adventure than re-live an old story in HD (one that I already know the twists and ending to no less).
@xXAsaki78sanXx Yeah, I had the same idea! I think it would be cool if they kept the entire game as it is but just increased the graphics tenfold! Like, every tree would be where every tree was in the PS version etc. That would be totally awesome! I wish they would do it...
AmatezBeatz this is exactly why square wasn't super big on promoting the game back when it was first released. i remember hearing about it reading a Playstation magazine ad. And it was the best purchase i made that year lol.
25 years and still listen to this amazing credit of OST! we want to have a remake for any characters, areas, and powers!
I'm having a hard time remembering a game with such an uplifting and adventurous soundtrack to it. I need this kind of stuff playing in my life 24/7.
I'm pretty surprised there hasn't been an orchestra that has arranged and performed this yet. There are a number of songs on this soundtrack that would translate really well into live performances.
Musashi was a favorite game hero. I loved this game back in the day.
"If I'm reincarnated I want to be Musashi again."
dynamicsketch the hero said that about himself?
@@zohrazohra5982 I had heard him say that around the first time i had died and we all got a good laugh out of it.
dynamicsketch nice detail about that times theology and clever way to tie it with gaming at the same time.
Gonna give this game a go for sure.
The 90s man, the passion and extra attention to detail of that period no longer exists unfortunately.
What a unique period for art.
*breaks down crying* THAT NOSTALGIA THO...
This game and legend of dragoon are the 2 all time best rpgs ever created period
No doubt it's one of the Top 10 PS1 games

This is my childhood dream
1:00 is the part of the song I remember whenever I think of this game.
you know a track is good when it is the same tune under two different titles. And this track is REALLY AWESOME
The LIVEST TRACK in the game. What a way to open it up! I still get goosebumps hearing this!
Square need to remake this masterpiece... XD
keep the gameplay and all the puzzles...
just better/smoother camera, pixels, & control
the best game ever. so much influence on my life

What a soundtrack.
武蔵伝といえばこのBGMですね!
I don't think Musashi is one of the best games ever, but I do think that this is one of the best video game songs ever.

one of many hidden gem game in ps 1
Not the same, wait till the end where it loops and you'll hear the difference in this version.
最高だぜ
It's very easy to remember all of the character names and places, considering the fact that they all have a relation to food! lmao Princess Fillet, Stewart ribson, to name a few
Actually this is the full version; the other is an endless loop

You have played because I've played it and we are all one.
If not for Medievil II Main menu theme, this would be my favorite song.
My first PS1 game....:')
It's on the Playstation Network... in Japan.
@Blackshishou It's played in both.

Agreed
i played this and FF7, both are at contest over which was better, but the musici n this was more catchy, aside from Aeriths theme
yeah the other song loops before the last (1/4) of the song

@xXAsaki78sanXx Yeah, I had the same idea! I think it would be cool if they kept the entire game as it is but just increased the graphics tenfold! Like, every tree would be where every tree was in the PS version etc. That would be totally awesome! I wish they would do it...
pretty sure it's the opening stage theme.
This must be from the ending credits of the game.
Still hoping squarenix will make a new musashi with the soul of musashi 1 (not you musashi 2)...
they got to bring this game to the psn for download
Shoot, why do i have to do this?!
if this in ps2 i'm sure it'll be nice....don't you guys agree?
@rizelinez Emulator and ISO exists my friend... I'm playing it right now :D
Why is this music familiar to me while I never played this game?
yeah...but nothing beats playing the real thing on an original PlayStation one.(btw i have both :p)
It's not the same Theme. It's the ending Version. It's a litle bit different.
This reminds me of Zelda
AmatezBeatz this is exactly why square wasn't super big on promoting the game back when it was first released. i remember hearing about it reading a Playstation magazine ad. And it was the best purchase i made that year lol.
2:18 onwards wasn't in my sibling's version of the game. Is there something we missed?
it's the Credits/End version, which is partially different to the intro and main theme
let go of the princess!!!
Why does this sounds like music from FFII ps1
玄龍震
@liloblindboi no one xD
