You take us to parts of Guyana many of us may never have ever seen even if we lived in Guyana all our lives, much less those of us now overseas who get a glimpse up close thanks to your terrific channel. Our neighbors were the Monroe's, the Alexander's and the Melville's. The Chinese guy who had a business and lots of piles of sand outside his house lived up the road. I believe the state house in New Amsterdam was where the British soldiers used to live.

I was watching your Stanleytown backroad video because I knew it would take you to Islington Village where I stayed the last time i was in Guyana 2006** My Mom was from that Village but I was not able to see the house because of the camera angle **I thank you for video of the backroads of East Bank Berbice as it is a part of the area rarely ever showcased**
Islington, is where I grew up, left for GT at 14. I heard it’s kinda spooky now. Maybe one day I will check it out. Thanks for sharing 👍🏽👍🏽 the Lambert’s were my neighbors. They lived across the road from us.

Don't know if l am right but l think Alwin is a Fields. I do know his false name but would not mention it here, if he is the same person l know, he is a very pleasant person. Next l uses yo be friends with his sisters in the street before they move yo Harkmans Lane. Not to mention. He knows all my family haha if l call name. But not here. He is still looking good.

We lived on water Street. I believe it was number 41. Across from the river. Used to watch The bauxite boat go by.

I went to Multilateral school. I walked from Pitt street to Multilateral school and back everyday 😊 How many miles is that? Is that 2 hrs walk?
