The engine sounds way more aggressive than the last year.
I see Toyota experimenting with the size of the air intake of the hybrid cooling system. @1:42 they have partially blocked the intake and have just a small slit open.
There is absolutely something going on in the engine section. Sounds way more aggresive compared with last year

@@TheVentour79 2017 regulations, but 2021 spec. 4 years of development showed improvements over 2017 cars.
Looks like Seb is driving two diferent cars, one has a bigger air intake on th sides and the other doesn´t have this intakes. Testing new stuff on the Yaris 🤫

Comparing to the Ford and Hyundai videos, I think these two are coming unprepared this year too. Toyota is really pushing it and it shows in the performance.

El puma parece un rally 2 comparado con el yaris, corre demasiado ya... creo que se está yendo de la mano el tema de la potencia en estos coches y lo que implica seguir por ese camino, primero por la inversión económica brutal que teniendo tan pocas marcas es absurda y segundo por temas de seguridad

I know you cant really compare. But the 2023 Yaris looks SO MUCH FASTER than the 2023 Puma in these testing vids!
Puma was testing on a much more polluted and degraded surface. There really is no comparison.

100% it does. The pick up out of the corners is so much faster. That Puma is in for another bad year
@@Skippernomnomnom in general Yes. But on twisty Asphalt mountain roads in the Alps.... Its Ogier territory.
Also the roads are completely different. So a comparison by just watching a video wont tell anything
lets take a moment to appreciate video operator's in-between shots with firetruck and other stuff
