How to Start a Discord Voice Chat using PS5 & Link Services (Easy Tutorial)

To start a Discord voice chat using your PS5, follow these steps:
Link Your Accounts:
Make sure your PS5 is up to date with the latest system software.
On Discord (either desktop, web, or mobile), go to User Settings - Connections.
Select the PlayStation logo and follow the process to link your PlayStation Network account to your Discord account.
Join a Voice Chat:
On mobile, slide up the Voice controls and tap “Join on PlayStation.”
On desktop, look for a button that resembles a phone and a game controller next to each other.
Choose your PS5 as the console to transfer your voice conversation to.
Chat Away:

I ask myself exact same question. DM is so much more useful than those discord calls, at least for me. I only use Discord for texting and browsing the servers, anyway. ​@@medoo9225

It works but I am not sure why wouldn't anyone use a phone before, I mean now it's more convenient, for sure. But I don't see any issue in using your smartphone instead, for the same purpose. I never really play crossplatform, and I don't usually voice call anyone on Discord. What would be more useful for me is if they added the dm bar, so I can actually write texts to my discord friends, or like reply to some posts on my discord servers. But yeah, that will probably never happen
