Robbe is a liar and says the midsole foam is different from last year's Nimbus, which is not true (though it is a firmer density). Both the Asics Gel-Nimbus 25 and 26 use FlyteFoam Blast+ Eco.
Think it’s time you guys go to a 4 color scale rather than 3 (red, yellow, green, and…aqua?). Almost everything gets a green, and inquiring minds want to know if something is a go or a super-go. As always, great review!
maybe, if it actually fits. a full size larger and in 4E fits smaller than a 1080. it's not just narrow, it's shallow. it's also not very stable. lastly it's extremely stiff for a non plated shoe and it has a very annoying toe rocker to make up for the total lack of flexibility. the 26 is other very comfy in terms of cush and plushness. wanted to like it, but it just doesn't fit for starters. so no go. Also ASICS is more obsessed with all this greenwashing suitability bs than any other major brand I've seen and what that means to actual consumers is you're getting lesser quality materials and paying the same. Why do I want recycled bottles in my $165 shoes? No thanks. It's meaningless greenwashing marketing that has zero ecological impact on anything.
The Gel-Nimbus 25 is my high cushioning shoes of the year but it was indeed really hard to pickup the pace with them. Unfortunately they were made for slow motion running only ! Glad to know that Gel-Nimbus 26 will be a bit less slow.
Asics needs more lower drop shoes. 8mm for a slow run shoe is too much for me as it keeps pushing me forward making me want to go faster then recovery speed. 8mm for the Superblast makes more sense. Until that's changed the New Balance More will be my go to for recovery speeds.
I used the 25 as a walk around shoe, but I have to say that the drop really isn’t great for posture, and the foam breaks down very quickly. Brand new, they’re lovely, but I personally don’t think healthy for the foot, hip posture, or spine.
Been checking the website for a while now and still don’t see the Believe In The Run hats and hoodies. I need Robbie’s whole fit asap. LET US KNOW WHEN ANOTHER DROP IS COMING. Yes I’m signed up for emailed newsletters lol
Please turn down the contrast when you color grade these, you've started to look like food network. Seriously, it just brings out the red in your faces way too much.
@@KR-no1or I must admit, I’m pretty darn excited to see if ASICS can make an already amazing shoe, even more amazing with the rumored upcoming release of the superblast 2.
I’m looking to run the Revel Mt Charleston downhill marathon in April. I’m planning to use ASICS superbast. Any recommendations on a better shoe to run a downhill race? Thanks in advance
Whatever shoe you pick, just make sure you try them on some downhill and make sure you get a good lockdown. The cushioning on the Superblast is perfect for the marathon.
Asics has very disappointing customer service. One of the only brands that do not offer 30 days "love it or return it" policy. In fact they go out of their way to not allow a return unless an actual visual defect is visible. 😡

😅
As long as it is more firm!
As soon as I got to that part of the video I looked and saw this comment. Love it!!! 😂
Lol
Go easy on him

I bought the gel nimbus 25 for my wife in September to run the Detroit Freepress international half marathon and she loves it
Perfect shoe for walking, airport flying and all day stand up at Disney World!!. Feels like a fine comfortable lofa!!

Always enjoy watching u guys
Thanks from Germany
Exceptionally good show that can be used by amateurs as well as very fast runners
Very cool Onitsuka Tiger t-shirt. And very sly wearing it while reviewing new ASICS shoes
he's a japan fan so look at it from that point-of-view.
I just got these after 2 pairs of nike and they are such a breath of fresh air.
Yeah I bought the gel nimbus 26 and I’ve started to like it. Need to run more and find out.
I want that tiger shirt that Thomas is wearing
They're holding out on us. I can't find that hoodie anywhere on their online store.
Great job on video.. hope its a better increase, because Nimbus 25 was PERFECT!!!!
So witch shoes is better for recovery runs novablast 4 or nimbus 26
i recommend adidas ultraboost
I've bought 4 pairs of gel nimbus 26. They all break at the mash on top of the fingers in a months time. Too expensive but comfy as hell.
Between the novablast 4 and nimbus 26, which wld be a better choice for daily trainers? I’m also considering the nb 1080v13
Daily trainer, Novablast for sure. 1080 right up there too
Just get the Nimbus 26.
This or newbalance 1080v13?
I preferred the nimbus as well
I need that Oni Tiger Shirt 🔥
Well, there is actually a Ziruss model from Asics.
Interesting choice of misspelling by Asics 🤔

Is the 26 also a good shoe to walk around in like the 25?
100%

I'm looking to replace my running shoes, which are the Brooks ghost max, how did these compare? Are they softer, are they better, are they worse?
Please give review of Asics GT 2000 12
Hi, will this shoe hold up for 260lbs runner? Concerned about the stack collapsing over time
if anynone owner is willing ,,,,it is true that it tears easily in the front????
Great video, thanks. What’s your thoughts on the sizing compared to the 25s?
25 might edge it by a little
@ cool thanks! - are the 26s running bigger or smaller?
Like from Spain.......¡¡¡¡¡¡HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!.
Love the 25 not sold by the 26’s 😢
Where’s that Onitsuka Tiger shirt from, we all need it
Is this model good for feet with medium to high arches?
I like the 25 lacing better
Yeah... it's better than the 25. As you guys say so enthusiastically.
Been checking the website for a while now and still don’t see the Believe In The Run hats and hoodies. I need Robbie’s whole fit asap. LET US KNOW WHEN ANOTHER DROP IS COMING. Yes I’m signed up for emailed newsletters lol
Stuff is on the way.
That is a sick Onitsuka Tiger shirt!

Would you say the nimbus 26 is similar to the super blast?
Only the Superblast is similar to the Superblast 🫡

Was waiting for thiiiiis yeeees
Is Asics Gt 2000 12 the stability shoe I've been asking for ??? Sorry if I'm a nuisance
But my ankles hurt
Kayano 30. Locks the ankles right in
Either GT-2000 12 TR, Vongo V6, or Puma Forever Run.
Gt 2000 12 is best shoe I’ve run in a very long time.
@@FatUglySadMan How's the bounce?
Why does Asics release two model versions of the same shoe in the same year? 25 and 26 both came in 2023, ridiculous.
How many miles can you put on these shoes
Nimbus or novablast......which one is better for daily training???
Nova is more versatile
Superblast

Thank you and I love your show
Where can I get that BITR hoodie Robbe is wearing???
Sold out
Limited edition which sold out.
Asics ❤❤❤

That's a dope shirt.
bring back the 24!
I hate when these two do the review together. Their chemistry sucks
It’s beating a dead horse. 😂
Not funny opening but I like the content 😢
Nimbus are for under-pronated, you guys NEED to make a reference about what the type of shoe is in simple terms.
Nah
25 is much better looking than 26.
Brick 25 to Brick 26
Thomas really needs to keep his behavior in check. The way he’s been talking to Robbie is pathetic.
Wouldn’t be surprised if Robbie walks out one day
Why so sensitive? They’re buds
