This 1979 Demo Cartridge was used in stores to extoll the features of Intellivision and to provide a look at several Intellivision games. It was non-interactive and looped indefinitely. As with many of the games, it carries a copyright date earlier than its actual release, in this case 1978. 1978 was when development began on the Intellivision system.

The music that plays in the demo cartridge for the Intellivision is an arrangement of Also Sprach Zarathustra by Strauss (1896), most commonly known for its use in Stanley Kubrick's 1968 film 2001: A Space Odyssey.
