Since November last year, the other member Woorim was enlisted to do full-time Military Service. It is required for all South Korea men to do this national service by the age of 28yo.

@@J.C.L.666….😊Some Correction required…. the one without formal training is the tenor soprano …Kang HyungHo, he trained himself while studying for his chemical engineering degree. He formed a band at high school first , then at university he co-founded the original PITTA band with his friends which was where he gained years of frontman and guitar experience, entering competitions etc.. The basso profundo, Ko Woorim, is a fully trained opera singer with 2 music degrees in voice….bachelor and masters degrees. Just like their leader Cho MinGyu who is also fully trained opera singer with 4 years experience at the Seoul Metropolitan Opera and who was Woorim’s senior at Seoul National University by 6 years. Woorim actually completed his 3rd and final year of his Bachelor degree by the end of 2017 in the allotted time which was just after they won the Phantom Sjnger 2 series in November 2017. Since then he has been working on expanding his vocal range to better express his own musical tastes as well as what he does with Forestella. Even though he loves classical singing, the opera world is a little restricted. Woorim had been preparing for opera singing since middle school and he’d spent many years on that path until his first overseas participation at the Toulouse International Singing Competition in France in 2016 where he reached the semi-finals! It was there that he realised he needed to become more agile vocally…hence the audition for Phantom Singer 2 in early 2017. And the rest is history.

@@clarymorgensternYes, they are a trio temporarily while Woorim is away! I count 3 people on stage here. MinGyu announced they are a trio until Woorim completes his military service on 19th May 2025. …because he can’t join them on stage while he is in the military. He has less than 9 months left from August so he is on the home stretch now. Forestella has been very active as a trio and as solo artists completing those commitments during Woorim’s absence. All 3 have been performing all through the year as solo artists at various events with 2 of them having successful concerts and the tenor soprano Kang HyungHo as his PITTA rock-band identity released an album, OST’s, singles and m/v ‘s with a 5 city concert tour and rock festivals…. oh… he also won an Immortal Songs 2 trophy on 20th July singing Phantom of the Opera as PITTA’s Kang HyungHo with Eun-Chul Oh…his keyboardist/pianist/music director while he’s on tour. Search UA-cam to find performances…some will be fan cams but look for the best ones and subscribe to those channels. KBS Immortal Songs 2 , KBS OPEN CONCERT, LEGENDS K-POP , I love KBS, Asan City Admiral/General Yi Sunshin birthday festival. MINGYU’S concert was named Mono Drama and his single and m/v which he wrote and co-composed: RECUERDOS DE BUENOS AIRES ……… that he wrote in Argentinian Spanish. Bae Doohoon just released 2 songs…one 8 days ago …an OST: DEAR for kdrama Snow White Mkust Die. Then 3 days later Dracula, the Musical song Loving You Keeps Me Alive was released through his agency Blue Stage.

Ko Woorim returns from his mandatory military service on 19th May 2025. So he has about 11 months left in the military band where he is an MC for their events and sometimes sings. There are videos on UA-cam.😊
