THANK YOU for featuring Francis Bourgeois! He is a one-person Smile Machine! Love anything he shares regarding his passion for the railway, and trains! ❤❤❤❤❤🚆🚆🚂🚂🚃🚃🚄🚄🚅🚅🚉🚉🛤🛤🛤🛤🛤🛤
Thank you for showcasing Francis!! He brings absolute delight to my day. He's such a sweetheart, and I'm always excited when he has new videos. I've been a huge fan for a few years now!! Go Francis!!
If you havent followed him so far you really need to. He will lighten your day and cheer anyone up. He is a total breath of fresh air and his enthusiasm is infectious. An absolute legend
So glad I found his videos. Anyone who has giddy passion for anything will understand this lad... he has tapped into how to capture it in video with his head-mounted camera. 👌
😂Its a persona dude. Its fake. He is just exploiting and exagerating his personality so people believe its real and wholesome. There is footage of him from years back and he is nothing like this.😂
As a child I loved going on trains, being at the station, being frightened when an express thundered through, the clickety-clack sound, just the whole experience was a treat. Moving to Australia in 1987 the rail system here is a real disappointment, where I live there's a track going one way and a track going the other, rather like Thomas the Tank Engine. When I go back to the UK on holiday I do a lot of train travel, standing on a railway bridge just looking at the network of tracks wondering where they all lead to, seeing the faint outline of a train approaching in the distance, all great memories. Francis should appear on Mastermind with his train knowledge!
Brilliant! Very clever amazing bloke , So great to see someone doing his own thing here , wonderful and entertaining hats off made my day ! More people like this please ,
Love this 🤗🤗 just goes to show that enthusiasm, information , politeness and generally happy demeanor towards people and his hobby is about as cool as you can get. The world would be a lot better place if more people were like him.
He’s like me, but my love is mushrooms and fungi of the British Isles, of which there are 15,000 varieties, I have photographed and cataloged 4,889, so far over 15 years. 🍄🍄🍄🍄🍄🍄🍄
Iv stumbled across him just lately and follow him on you tube and he’s a joy to watch . Love his vids and his joy of trains . Hats off to him and hope he goes far with this . He deserves it
And there was me thinking I was his only fan! I really like Francis. What a great guy. If I bumped into him on a journey I'd miss all my stops just to chat to him. Great video.
😂Its a persona dude. Its fake. He is just exploiting and exagerating his personality so people believe its real and wholesome. There is footage of him from years back and he is nothing like this.😂
The thing I like about him the most is that he found his passion and he journals everything, making him productive. If everyone had this much passion about something and was productive around it. The world would be a more colourful place to live.
I follow Francis and have done for some time now and I’m glad that I do. He brings joy to my day when I watch his post and can only imagine how much work goes on behind the camera for him to produce these posts. Just going to look for you book right now 👍🏻(PS Class 37 on a cold start, yeah baby 😂)
It is 13th July 2024 and I have just watched on bbc news channel you going around on train through different towns and ending in Scotland, I am not interested in trains but your programme was just amazing. Your enthusiasm was just so superb to watch and the emotion you showed made me appreciate your dedication towards trains it was so uplifting. The different people who met you on your way was so special to them so keep up your great work and thank you for giving me an insight inside your journey.
I used to get absolutely ripped as a kid for train spotting, for me it was bonding time with my dad as he did it in the steam era. Now those same people ask me for advice and are fascinated.
I'm a spotter myself and he got the sounds of the tractor and the grid off to a T.... Wished they had more sounds of locos he could of done, like the ying ying, gronk, or the duff.
This just brought back so many trains memories for me. Modern trains are okay, but they lack that old carriage smell which is indescribable and not at all unpleasant. And the closing of the doors. Ka-Clunk!
I remember somebody when I was a kid, my brothers mate actually, I think his name was Neil. Anyway he was on zig and zag as well discussing his passion with them (so yes a long time ago lol) and his hobby is even more strange to most than train spotting is! He used to tour the country taking photos and videos of Pylons, just big electrical pylons in fields and he was absolutely besotted by them
This is amazing but sometimes they need to let him talk longer, they kind of cut him off or try and finish his sentences which is a shame. It’s so great to hear his passion uninterrupted!
Seems the petty jealousies can’t help trying to put him down on here. Can’t help only looking for something ‘bad’ in any good situation. The pseudonym he uses is not a secret or some sort of con. He’s explained it many times if you can be bothered to look.
What I would like not to see is Francis being overused. Of corse it’s his choice but I’d rather see him slowly growing into the role as the ultimate trainspotting godfather than him cooking pasta, singing and dancing on TV and the like
He is so polite and his enthusiasm for trains 🚂 is Wonderful ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This guy should be given his own tv series, his enthusiasm, excitement and knowledge is second to none
He already does on channel four entertainment channel on UA-cam. Look for "Trainspotting with Francis Bourgeois"
He did lel
How cool would it be if he kicked along with Michael Portillo for a season of his show. But make it more train heavy.
I’d watch that… As long as it wasn’t on BBC.
@@ANDIMILLS1 It's on UA-cam. Channel four entertainment
Such an intelligent, pure and sensitive soul. The world needs more people like him. I hope Francis/Luke knows how loved he is! 💕
Thank you for showcasing Francis!! He brings absolute delight to my day. He's such a sweetheart, and I'm always excited when he has new videos. I've been a huge fan for a few years now!! Go Francis!!
He is a wonderful guy. I watch his UA-cam videos and it makes my day so much nicer. What a credit to his parents. 😊😊😊
This guy is a beam of light.....you cant help but feel good when his enthusiasm rubs off on you and those he meets.
He's an amazing individual...as crazy as this may sound he does brings out that pure heart of the things we loved as children.
Lovely of the presenter to notice and comment on the book cover art. It's such an under-appreciated skill, to draw/paint a great book cover.
THIS MAN IS A NATIONAL TREASURE. PROTECT AT ALL COSTS!
If you havent followed him so far you really need to. He will lighten your day and cheer anyone up. He is a total breath of fresh air and his enthusiasm is infectious. An absolute legend

Traindriverbrian is a good Chanel too if you love trains never met a question he don’t know yet
Legend...right word
😂Its a persona dude. Its fake. He is just exploiting and exagerating his personality so people believe its real and wholesome. There is footage of him from years back and he is nothing like this.😂
This is a ver accurate and true statement he is brilliant to watch and relax
I’m a railway enthusiast! I absolutely love watching his videos. He’s an inspiration to everyone and to the railway!
Not really into trains ,but i watch the videos because of him and his enthusiasm, its uplifting 😊

I wish I felt such passion for anything. ❤️
So lovely. What a joy filled person
How this chap isn’t on the tv with a proper discovery channel is beyond me! Natural talent and very entertaining! Clever man!
He's such a joy to listen to 🙂
Love this 🤗🤗 just goes to show that enthusiasm, information , politeness and generally happy demeanor towards people and his hobby is about as cool as you can get. The world would be a lot better place if more people were like him.
Top sound effects from our man Francis there!
His manner, passion and willingness to share his joy is an absolutely treasure. I’ve been really down lately. His videos give me hope.
Lovely young man
Love watching him

I watch your videos because of you Francis and the trains are growing on me. Please never change 🎉
I really get pleasure from listening to people who know and love their topic and are enthusiastic this guy does all .
Top man , I am 54 years old and I used to bash 40s then 45s and this guy is the real deal ……..Hellfire 😀🚂
Such a passionate and pure man, love him ❤️🏴🙏
Such a genuine lad. So refreshing to see. Anyone would aspire for just a small bit of his enthusiasm and passion
😂Its a persona dude. Its fake. He is just exploiting and exagerating his personality so people believe its real and wholesome. There is footage of him from years back and he is nothing like this.😂
As a train enthusiast myself (mainly steam), I doth thank thee
I follow this guy, just such a lovely person.
Classy interview. Wholesome and refreshing.
The thing I like about him the most is that he found his passion and he journals everything, making him productive. If everyone had this much passion about something and was productive around it. The world would be a more colourful place to live.

Just going to look for you book right now 👍🏻(PS Class 37 on a cold start, yeah baby 😂)
I don’t mind him and he does bring a good smile with his humour and passion of being a famous train spotter. Even my mum doesn’t mind him as well.

The BBC should commission him to create a documentary series. ❤
Good idea. The documentary-making world needs next-gen people that aren't just into the regular youth culture.
The only time i would support the BBC 🤣🤣👍👍
Please, not the BBC. He’s a lovely guy, and the BBC is an awful, dishonest organisation.
Michael Portillo had better watch out.
BBC? He might not make the DEI requirements.
I wish hed come to parry sound and i could see his reaction to the trestle and level crossing here
Man this guy cracks me up! Love to see him enjoying himself!
Class 37 is so musical and dramatic.
This guy is such a joy, to think he's also got modelling on his portfolio. I wish to have his enthusiasm in something at some point in my life
Wish I had a hobby which gets me as excited as trains do Francis. If you're having a bad day, watch one of his videos; you'll soon be smiling
I love his enthusiasm.
This just brought back so many trains memories for me. Modern trains are okay, but they lack that old carriage smell which is indescribable and not at all unpleasant. And the closing of the doors. Ka-Clunk!
I couldn’t care less about trains but I love this guy
I couldn't care LESS about trains.
But I love this guy.
I follow him from the Faroe Islands
So impressed with his knowledge of the train sounds.
Amzing train impressions!
I had to 'train' a young volunteer who was on the spectrum at our local heritage railway. He knew more about the locos than I did!
He’s the man we all want to admit we are. But we keep it hidden. Top bloke!
He's awesome!
Unlike Australian TV the hosts actually treated the guest with respect
My cousin had a rail track in his garden in st Austell in 1970s. He went onto greater things in adult hood.
1 minute into the video, two adverts, amazing.
I often wondered if this guy is playing a character, I’m really glad he’s not and this is actually him 😂
That was BRILLIANT!!!
I remember somebody when I was a kid, my brothers mate actually, I think his name was Neil. Anyway he was on zig and zag as well discussing his passion with them (so yes a long time ago lol) and his hobby is even more strange to most than train spotting is!
He used to tour the country taking photos and videos of Pylons, just big electrical pylons in fields and he was absolutely besotted by them
Francis is awesome
Legend
He's like a young Giles.
8:55 did anyone else hear "right, we get it" in the back ground
i guess it was a floor manager counting screen time 🙂
Sounded like Allison to me.
Protect him at all costs 😂❤
Top man. I have only discovered him
This is amazing but sometimes they need to let him talk longer, they kind of cut him off or try and finish his sentences which is a shame. It’s so great to hear his passion uninterrupted!
LOVE HIM....Shame they say train when they should say LOCO.
He is a goodin.
I work for London Underground, so I’ve heard Inspector Sands quite a few times
For me it was the Deltic. 37s were called Chunkeys up north
My lords.
Scratched
Brilliant!
Oh I must buy your book
I hope they gifted him the announcements. 😊
Great to see this but I wish they lady would say railway station and not train station.
I knew he was normal. The POV cam thing is to make it silly.
I love this man
...good to see Lee Mavers has spent his time well....!!
francis has charisma ...............
Do you know the „Wälderbähnle“? If not plz come to Vorarlberg ❤
See it, say it, sorted.
This man needs protection at all cost
I’m sure he can protect himself
Couldn’t agree more 😂🤣
He's Simon Caldwell's love child.
In 20 years time we will be watching him with his wife on a tv programme where they refer to one another as ‘nutty’!
Seems the petty jealousies can’t help trying to put him down on here. Can’t help only looking for something ‘bad’ in any good situation. The pseudonym he uses is not a secret or some sort of con. He’s explained it many times if you can be bothered to look.
Dude!
Sir Francis i think...
Sir Luke Magnus Nicolson more like 😂
I be in my gfs ear like 7:47
1:06 jes what's with the evils love?
Please give this guy a tv series...get rid of Portillo..!!!!!
i love this guy, although he makes me feel guilty for being such a miserable sod.
Large lady's fashion choice is questionable. Points for set docoration and sound cues though.
The above post was edited, and they still couldn't get the spelling right. Education system fail
Gen Z have a lot to learn from him.
What I would like not to see is Francis being overused. Of corse it’s his choice but I’d rather see him slowly growing into the role as the ultimate trainspotting godfather than him cooking pasta, singing and dancing on TV and the like
