I’m a proud daughter to say my dad was part of the Knights of Columbus. He had a high position with a double star. Though he has passed last year, I take pride in knowing that my dad has been part and had a great contribution being part of this brotherhood. Being a Knight of Columbus has always made me a better practicing Catholic Christian. What I like about the Knights of Columbus is that they’re adamantly supporters of Special Olympic athletes like myself. And this past August I was promoted to the rank of lecturer. Which I was deeply honored and grateful. And I’ll always take the position very seriously. This past November, I did a speech about Scott Hahn’s book, “The Lamb’s supper, the mass as Heaven on earth.” And this coming Thursday is when I’ll go to my council meeting and my new speech is about the real Santa Claus aka Saint Nicholas.
Thank you Jesus Christ and to our Catholic Church

The first time I joined the Knights of Columbus was in the spring of 2009. And one the things that they taught and encouraged me to be was to become adamantly pro life. Saying no to abortion rights and saying yes to save the unborn children from abortion. Now I'm aware of that there's protesters against me and the organization that I belong to because of the controversy that surrounded Christopher Columbus and what he did by committing genocide towards native Americans. Still regardless, I'm still going to stay committed to the organization no matter what and there's no one and nothing that's going to stop me from staying committed. Once I started the commitment, I have to sincerely honor it.
Liberals have warped and twisted history about Columbus. They made him a monster he was not.
What do i like about the Knights of Columbus? Well I can give out a number of things that I like about them.
1. The Knights themselves encourage me to stay loyal and faithful to the Catholic Christian faith in the best of times and in times of turmoil chaos especially during the Covid-19 pandemic.
2. The founder itself Blessed Michael J Mcgiveney has given me encouragement to live out my faith at home, with my brother Knights, my family members, at church and even at my workplace.
3. In March last year 2022, the grand knight promoted me to the rank lecturer at my council meetings.
4. Both the Knights of Columbus and Blessed Michael J Mcgiveney want me to reach out to other people and share the Catholic Christian faith in any way possible.

Nice to see some that are doing something because there are others out there that are doing quite the opposite. I’ve seen “knights” hold up pro life signs, but would dump a litter of kittens in the jungle. I’ve seen “knights” just use it as a club to have a party every month. I could go on and on. I’ve seen “knights” have a color guard to honor someone who passed away but wouldn’t give a homeless dog some food.
The organization needs to have an accountability division or something. Because it is getting out of hand.
Christ did not care more for animal life than for human life, that is what we imitate.
Yet even in the gospels it is said that "even the dogs eat the crumbs from the Master's table." (Matthew 15:26-28).
The woman that said that was commended by Jesus. It might be a slight context mismatch, but the concept still stands. I have no admiration or trust for anyone who is unkind to animals, when they have it in their ability to do at least something. That kindness need not rob from humans.
Why do the K of C use a human skull and bones

They need to bring back the old uniform, it was iconic and tradition is important... plus the new one is terrible.
Are you a Knight? If so, I couldn't disagree more , my brother. This uniform is pleasantly modern. This was a long time coming my opinion. My compliments to those who made the decision to change.
@@miguelangeldiaz9380no I am not... maybe you need to hear from the outside... everyone I have heard from outside the organization thinks the new one looks ridiculous... you are not taken as seriously as you used to be... tradition means something, it was abandoned and cheapened your image... sorry but it's true... it's like a Priest showing up in a polo shirt and khakis with a little logo or something....it just isn't the same... something being "modern" (I wouldn't even agree that is the case with the new uniform) does not mean better...or even good...in fact in the "modern" world we live in, it more often than not means bad... as with the case with uniforms...
@@daveweiss5647 well all I can say is this uniform fits my personality better. Things change. If people judge us based on something as superficial as a uniform, I have to say that's just not something that keeps me up at night.
Fair enough... but uniforms are meant to be traditional and historic... that is one of the main reasons for them... it was definitely a huge loss for tour organization and it is usually a symptom of decline... hopefully soon someone sensible will attain a position of power within the knights and bring back the real uniform before the thread is fully broken and what was once is not lost for future generations forever.

The best thing in life I could have did was become a third degree night and then a fourth degree night I seen myself grow it's a beautiful thing when God is your eyes and your wings to guide you to the days and nights met so many people on my traveling

My experience with the Knights of Columbus is that it is an old man's club and nothing more.
The Knights of Columbus was established to serve a need, but members today have lost sight of that goal.Most members don't participate in the funding of the cause by purchasing insurance from the organization. The Knights of Columbus have fallen so far from their original goals that it could only be considered a joke.
