- I recently purchased the Béri bag (previously the Numéro Onze) in taupe from Polène and I’ve been extremely happy with it! The quality is great and for the price, I think it’s extremely reasonable. They don’t ever appear to do discount codes, however it seems like they often do a free shipping deal around the holidays. Right now they have one going on that is site wide (in all currencies) that ends December 15. If you’re interested in any of their designs, right now might be a great time to try them out!

Just received this bag today but in camel. The color is a bit off compared to the photos (lighter and less rich) but I expected that because I've been watching reviews. This is the other color I was debating on and now thinking if I made the wrong decision lol. For now I removed the strap and used a chain so it looks dressier.
Yeah, I find the colours of their bags lighter than how they appear on the website and seeing videos and other pictures definitely help!

Hi there! Love your video. I have a question….. I just received the Beri bag today in black. The gold slider on the handle seems a little loose ( meaning, it slides so easily that I wonder if it will in hinge on its own if I’m not careful). Like, there’s no click that locks it in place when. Is that your experience as well? Just want to make sure it’s normal and not defective
Hi Brandy, thanks for watching! Yes, the clasp on the handle for mine also doesn't click. So far I haven't had it go undone, but it doesn't always stay perfectly aligned which might bother some people!

Sorry just wondering.I bought two bags from polene. I live in Canada as well. Why I had to pay quite bit more than u paid for duty fee? Any tips on that?
Hi Annie, I live in Alberta so tax is 5%. Also, if you buy more (2 bags), the price goes up, so you'll pay more in duties and tax. Thanks for watching!

Can you open, close the bag and easily get stuff in and out with one hand? I’ve got twin toddlers so if I have a hand free it’s only ever one. Am trying to choose between the Beri and the Tonca (which has magnetic flap closures but a more irregular shape).
No, I find it pretty difficult to use with just one hand! You can open it, but I don't think I'd recommend. I'm wondering if the Tonca will be easier as it doesn't have the top clasp like the Beri does!
It looks much lighter in the video vs. the picture from the official website. Can i ask which one is more accurate representation of the actual color?
I would say the bag is definitely a bit lighter than what it appears to be on the website!
This looks lovely. How do you put it down since it doesn't have a normal bottom?
Unfortunately because of the way the bottom is with the bag, it doesn't sit on its own! It hasn't bothered me much though - I just lean it against something or have it sit on its side
I am thinking of purchasing un nano in the textured taupe.
Would you say this color pairs well with different colors and outfits, inclusive all black outfits? Wonder how versatile it is.
I honestly think the colour is super versatile, and its consistently one of my most used bags! I think it also goes well with neutral colours like cream and browns and deeper warm colours like a forest green.

I really like the colour personally, and I've used it way more than my other polene bag that's in chalk! I don't think a book would fit in it!

I got a text message and also an email with a statement of how much was due for duties and tax, and then I was able to pay directly online with a credit card via the DHL website!

Hi! It really depends on your own preference! I don't have the un nano but I've loved using the beri. I think overall the un nano is more popular so it would likely be a very safe choice :)

Hi! I pack it full and haven't found the strap to bother me at all nor do I find it heavier than any of my other bags.

Hi Natalie, it does not stand on its own! You'll have to lean it against something or have it on its side, but nothing falls out!

Yes, you can remove it by untying the knots on either end, however you will still be left with the loops on the sides where the strap threads through. I personally haven't removed the strap!
Polene Return policy is an absolute nightmare. They will hold on on your money even if you post it back. Think twice before ordering from them
That makes sense. Thave to check if the bag is in original condition before they make a refund.

Hi! It's called the Le Foulonne Coin Purse and it's still available on the Longchamp website, however not in this particular colour anymore. If you look at the women's small leather good section and click on coin purse you'll find it!
