Love our Obasan pillows so so much. I've been sleeping on the wool pillow lately and it's such bliss. We just picked up a Coyuchi quilt in a "ginger" color for spring/summer and I'm oh so excited

We have coyuchi sheets/comforters that we got for the boys and they have held up really really well and we are two yrs into daily use. I am dreaming about a bed now!!

Great content! You do not necessarily need toppers with cocomat. Actually we are considering removing ours and trying our mattress alone, because we love the feel of our toddlers cocomat mattress (we didn’t get her a topper). I am struggling to find quality eco linen in Europe though.
Hi! That's good to know, I think a lot of people like an ultra plush bed but if you naturally prefer something firmer then yes, topper wouldn't be necessary. I will keep keep my ears to the ground about European eco bed linens....
I'm curious. Every time I see shredded anything (usually latex) pillows they look lumpy. I checked out the coyuchi latex and they appear lumpy also which looks unsightly. Yours don't look lumpy, hmmm. Thanks!

I got a latex mattress along with a separate wool topper in December and I'm thrilled with it. I ended up also getting a wool duvet, adjustable wool knop pillows and a full length wool body pillow as well. A lot of random aches and pains that I'd attributed to aging, along with some long-term alignment and shoulder issues have all vanished. I also started mouth taping (sounds crazy; isn't at all) to ensure I'm nasal breathing at night and am sleeping amazingly well. I've always been a pretty good sleeper but the difference is still profound. All told, it was a pretty large investment but worth every penny.
I've read about mouth taping! The concept weirds me out but I know it's incredibly helpful. Sleep is sooooo important so these all seem like such amazing changes and investments. I know our bed investment has been worth every penny too, really a profound difference.

Thanks for the video and discount code, Mercedes! I need a refresh on everything except the mattress. Random, somewhat related somewhat not, question - how many sets of sheets did you get? I currently have two sets for my bed and rotate them weekly. I feel like I should probably have more so I'm not washing them so often and wearing them out. I wonder if there's some secret to adulthood that no one every taught me about how many sets of sheets a person should have for their bed... ;)
So currently we have two sheet sets and I'm going to wait until Coyuchi does another sale or money off with purchase as they did over the holidays and pick up a set of sateen sheets, and maybe linen sheets from them. We have the percale from Coyuchi which are AMAZING and then just a set of organic pinstripe sheets from target to rotate in to prevent overwearing the percale. I think having two sets to rotate each season is probably ideal? So a fall/winter set of two - maybe a sateen, organic cotton, jersey or flannel depending on how warm you want to be, and then a percale and linen set for spring/summer? Linen can be all season but they are the most expensive and biggest investment.

Unfortunate the clean bedroom doesn’t ship to Canada 😔 will have to take a trip to Ottawa at some point to visit the Obasan store instead. In terms of the pillows, do you find the wool one less firm than the other one? I’m a back sleeper but find that the back sleeper pillows are usually positioning my head too high and tense my neck and shoulders.
I bet the Obasan store is a dream! I vacillate on my preference between the wool and shredded rubber. They do a combo pillow too which might be a good option. As a back sleep I think the shredded rubber is recommended but if you want something less high then...maybe the wool? You can also customize the amount of filling in any of their pillows.
