Keukenhof Essential Tips

In this video I’ll be showing you what it looks like inside the Keukenhof including some of the pavilions, the bus trip from Amsterdam, what services are available (eg lockers, food) and some tips to make the most out of your first visit there. This footage is from my trip in 2023.
The Keukenhof (also known as the Keukenhof Gardens) is one of the world’s largest flower gardens and it is situated in an area called Lisse in the Netherlands. This is a very doable day trip from Amsterdam and if you’re taking the Keukenhof bus from the RAI, the journey time is about 35 minutes. For Keukenhof 2024, the season is running from 21 March to 12 May 2024.

Hello there! My name is Daniella Perera and I’m an artist and vlogger based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I grew up in Hong Kong and the UK, and I’m of mixed heritage including Chinese, Sri-Lankan, Dutch and Portuguese.
Near the end of 2020, I moved from Kuala Lumpur to Amsterdam with my husband. Great tips! One of the first market bubble and crash happened due to the tulip mania in Amsterdam.

Thank you for the informative video. Would you please clarify whether we can use the Amsterdam®ional Travel card (2 day pass) to go to Keukenhof from Amsterdam Centraal/Schiphol airport?

Thanks for your comment. I'm not so sure on this. I did see it's possible to get bus 858 from the airport, but I would definitely contact the Keukenhof to double check this.

Your videos are great thanks for them!! You mentioned some of the international Credit Cards were rejected in Keukenhof, therefore I would like to ask...is it possible to pay with cash?

I’m so glad you find the videos helpful. I did see on their website that Keukenhof is cashless. Amsterdam is generally cashless too, but it doesn’t hurt to have some on you as backup.
