I installed F800R handlebars to the bike. The handguards are R1200GS handguards and they screw right onto the bar end threads on the outside and are ziptied on the inside. Added a link to some pics of the bike above, which will hopefully give you a good idea..
Thanks for the video. The best sound is with no baffle it seems. Just bought the 2014 F800GT and everything about the bike is awesome except for the lawnmower sounding engine and super skinny rock hard grips. The latter I fixed to great effect with a pair of foam grip covers for 12 bucks and they feel great, reduced vibration less numbness and they even look good. Still wondering what to do about the exhaust. BTW, you're neighbours must hate you. :P
I have the Ak. Does no baffle go faster? No baffle sounds way smoother. Not much difference, I get lots of backfiring, which is kind of cool. Would that happen with no baffle?
Hi there, I just bought a used F800 S with this same exhaust, but the bike came without any type of baffle, so I'm considering to order this V-TUV005 baffle you have. Can you tell me if there's any kind of modification you need to do to the exhaust to apply the baffle or does it fit straight in? Is there any difficulty with the installation? Thanks in advance!
@wesoly757, Yes, the custom baffle is just a standard baffle with the tube cut off and holes drilled along the perimeter.
Great video, thanks!

What type of handguards are installed on your F800S? Any major modifications needed to fit?

Can you add a link for some pics, because google+ is not working ? Especially handguards.
That custom baffle is just standard baffle cut of?
I'm so confused why didn't you show it with the akapovic exhaust on, both videos were of the same exhaust
The noise baffle part # is V-TUV005
You should be able to search online for a suitable seller near you.

At the end of the day and after reviewing all options, I would settle for the muted stock muffler.
It looks like a 2-stroke
Why do the rear lights flicker?
K Khalifah It's just the video. The camera's refresh rate is seeable in the flickering lights
the rear lights flicker because the frame rate of the camera is not in synch with the LED frequency. in reality, you don't see this on the road.
