Yes... it might be a bit overkill. I did it due to the instrument going to my father & he spends 3-4mo straight camping each summer. I didn't want moisture to into seams while the instrument was subjected to rapidly fluctuating temps & humidity levels. I intended it to function like caulking. 🤷🏻♂️😅
Excellent Job!!! I love being the proud new owner of one Beautiful Mountain Dulcimer 💗 Thanks So Much for all the hard work put in to it my Dear Son 💗💪🤗
Your music sucks. Build is interesting, but would have been better with some voice over letting us know the issues and challenges you may of had with the build.
Thank you for your input. This was 1st DIY progress video... generic royalty-free music, single video source, and horrible audio options. For these reasons, I've postponed further build videos until I could upgrade gear & build a sound studio. I truly appreciate your comment and hope to provide quality content in the near future.
Nice vid, though some more appropriate music could have been nice, maybe dulcimer? 😂
Not sure why you are applying glue around the outside of the joints, after they're already glued and clamped?
Seems unnecessary and messy.
