"Nobody fights alone" is the primary theme in Natlan. It's impressive that you were able to recognize how much focus was placed on the other characters and not just Mavuika. The Natlan Archon quest is certainly worth looking into if you're curious to know more.

I previously commented on the Sunday trailer reaction that the piano wasn’t animated correctly, but in the short few seconds that Kinich was playing the keyboard in the video, it was indeed animated correctly!
Knowing that a lot of music related animation (dancing, singing) is done by either motion capture or tracing I'd safely assume that the instruments are all correctly animated. There's a guitarist who actually played chasca's parts that were shown and it was all correct.
"I never will let you go" is a direct reference to Final Lesson from HI3. Also, I didn't realize the singer was from Against the Current. I love them! No wonder I love this song so much. Oh and all those other characters are the modern day inheritors of the ancient names of her friends who died in the driving toward sunset video. So that makes it even more hype. No sadness. Just winning.
Yep! All of the instruments are animated correctly! At least, it seems to be correct with the positioning of the hands on the fretboards, it's a bit tough to see the animations of the fingers with the movement of the camera. I also really love this trailer, and I don't understand the discourse from some people. Sure, I was also taken aback at first when I saw Mavuika singing, but it's so freakin' cool! Different is good! I'm glad you're feeling good enough to be doing regular content, Sami! I can't wait for you to hop back into the Natlan story! Looking forward to it! The best thing in this trailer was that the song was sang in 4 languages (Eg, CN, Korean and JP) and the JP version was sang by the voice acteress herself And all 4 languages were done greatly

You hit every nail on the head with this trailer, people are allowed to like and have fun with this one and the haters can go cry in a corner. This trailer perfectly encompasses everything about this archon and her nation, and you picked that up instantly.
I have seen a video of some one playing the same notes that chasca plays... and even if it sounds a little bit off it certainly is hitting the correct notes, same with the sinth... i wouldn't be surprised if they used mocap on a real band playing the song
Yeah, there was a video about how the guitars were also animated correctly, when it come to Music Hoyo is always good with making sure that stuff is correct it's no wonder they have their own music team with Hoyo Mix. As for Mavuika herself, I do have her, since I lost on Xilonen (skipped Chasca cause of her gameplay) I was able to get that Capturing Radiance event where the limited character is boosted. Working on pulling Citlatli.
i’ve definitely seen some backlash to Mavuika’s trailer - and at least the consensus from what i’ve seen is that her trailer is pretty good but they were expecting something with a similar tone/vibe to Raiden’s trailer? personally when i first watched it i was a bit surprised by the ~✨anime OP✨~ style but it’s grown on me overtime! not enough to become my new fave (that still goes to Furina) but i think i understand what hoyo was going for with Natlan’s whole “nobody fights alone” belief + with Mavuika being a very selfless person it kinda fits that her own trailer doesn’t focus exclusively on her
There are Japanese, Korean, and Chinese versions too. Since you're a drummer... Check out a Japanese band, Koiai. They covered Blazing Heart Japanese Version, with their own twist with sick guitar and drum fills.

I pulled for Citlali first because I wanted her more. I won her on hard pity. Then I went for Mavuika, and won her on hard pity on Capturing Radiance. My next character is definitely going to be a standard banner character.
Also yeah I've heard from musicians online that all the instruments were animated correctly, but Hoyo is very consistently goated like that, so no surprise there. With regards you Iansan, considering we already got a 4 star Natlan electro character I think she's probably be a 5 star and if I had to bet on it she's probably be an overload based dps catalyst that punches. Idk how that will work exactly but if anyone can pull it off it's probably Hoyo.
i think they recorded the real band first and animate based on that, cause even the guitar chords are accurate and in sync with the music i hope we can see live performance of this song with the original singer
I got mavuika (85pity after tighnari that is 😅) and her sign weapon in 27pity after last pull for neuvillette tome in the banner before. opening 2025 with a bits glory I guess 😄😄
I was waiting for your reaction to Iansen and her drum performance on the drums. People who are calling this cringe are just hating, I think it’s great and I did pull for Mavuika as I skipped everyone since Kinitch as I lost the 5050 so I wanted to be guaranteed the archon and I also got her weapon which looks sick
I returned to playing Genshin a couple of weeks before Mavuika's banner started. Never thought that I would get her in a single 10x pull and her weapon in 20x pulls. Hoyo wants me to simp on Mavuika so hard 😂
Guess you'll gotta pull Iansan at this point. BTW I've had the worst luck in 4 years with this patch. 35k-ish primo and I only got 1 Mavuika, lost 50/50 twice and now I have Jean C6.
To be honest, I strongly doubt that Iansen is a Forster, there were characters with silhouettes in the livestream and they were all 100% five stars and Iansen was included. Since I play in Japanese myself, I prefer the Japanese version of the video because it feels much more immersive since it's really the same voice singing the song that you hear in the game with the character, it always feels more real and tangible, which is not to say that the others weren't good, they are good but it's just a difference whether the voice you know from the game sings the song or just a character stranger.

As someone who plays guitar and bass, I can confidently say that they animated Chasca, Mualani, and Ororon pretty accurately.
