Margu is so cute, and I love that she introduces different culture to kids without it being dumbed down. You never get her words translated, but you still get her meaning
You're so right that this is a family movie because my boys and I loved it. We full on belly laughed throughout, and when i laughed at bits my kid sidnt get, i could explain why as an extra bonding moment.
12:33 absolutely, and I wish more animated movies were like this. Even some of the blockbusters can do it well. A couple of my favorites are Wreck-It Ralph and Coco. They definitely stirred up the right mix of emotions. I was tearing up at the end of Wreck-It Ralph and flat out ugly-crying at the end of Coco 😭
I really love Alva here, she’s so sweet. Jesper is kind of a little shit tbh, but luckily he does get a bit more likeable in this part of the movie 😅 Also, love that you’re still drawing connections to Arcane all the time haha. My mind is honestly still like that as well 🙈 If you do decide to do some Arcane inspired drawing for the channel I’d be all for it!

The mix of physical comedy as well as the jokes really is exceptional. Different types of humour, so everyone can be included ❤
The way each element of the Santa myth gets explained is just brilliant, because it is just Jesper making shit up on the spot 😆

The two "kids" of the council elders only saying MINE is so creepy yet comedic.
