That second race was a rush for sure. What surprises me is how much you were short shifting and going easy in the turns and yet you were still smoking people. Good stuff
The cars capabilities certainly made up for my driver/seat time short comings. Nerves got the best of me the first 3 runs, but the last one was pretty solid. Coming into turn 3 is where most people go too hard and hit the wall, I was making sure that didn't happen, but obviously slowed a bit too much everytime. First time for me driving the evo out there and it was quite the experience!
@@BoostedFilms I think just a bit to early breaking and waiting about 2 seconds too long to get back on power, you gotta embrace the understeer of an awd car especially in the dirt. but good races over all.

Some of those RWD cars stayed right on him... they were DEFINITELY better drivers, but RWD is no real match for AWD.. put them on black top and that evo would have been beat by a few of them.
That's the equivalent of fighting with your hands tied

If this was on ashpalt the Evo would have lost to several of those V-8 cars, and if this was more than one lap he probably wouldn't win so easily.

V8s win drag races but awds win circuits where the true skill lies. It doesn't take talent to drive in a straight line, only some practice. Taking a circuit is takes a lifetime career.

Here come the butthurt V8 keyboard warriors "awd is for girls" "awd is cheating". "If the V8 had awd he would win" etc. As soon as you take them out of what they can only do (straight line) and throw them into a different environment, there's bitching and moaning. In which case one should add cylinders to an EVO at a drag race to follow the same logic. That Evo just about murdered them all. And i bet the Evo is not even more boosted over stock.
