We went for a cruise to see the "War Zone" our first week out there. We were surprised because they had the whole streets sectioned off with built-in roadblocks and all that. Bullet riddled homes and one story tenements. This was the last days of this Sureño invasion in 2000. I was 14. I'm from EAST SIDE WILMAS, but Florence13, Lil×Watts13, Lennox13, and other varrios were out there. Don't get it twisted, though. The Norte14 were there too.
I was in the war zone when they came in here! Even got threatened by um . I know UTK too. They came in and got the bottoms! Means they hung around junkies all day! Thats not a hustle , they really all junkies getting hit by California junkies!
I did 9yrs 8 months on these yards in NUEVO yes I came across a couple from califas but my guy they do not politic here on the mainline it’s different here

You forgot to mention 18 St as one of the many Sureño hoods that migrated to Burque from LA & they're probably one of the deepest gangs in ABQ.
