Yes Tameer is an inspiration for all of us cause he is an all rounder. This is how everyone should organise their schedule. A balance in everything will definitely keep you happy physically and mentally.
KEEP THE WORK UP. Your definitely giving youth here goals and many are able to envision themselves reaching them cause you show them something to look forward to and information! Good job!
Tamer, thank you for being so realistic and candid in the making of this video. It's hard to find anything close to reality out on UA-cam especially when it comes to daily routines. You inspire me to persist in my Mechanical Engineering studies. A huge salute from Ireland.
Fantastic video! Showing engineering jobs in a good (and honest) light like this is absolutely vital. I very nearly gave up on my engineering passion for compsci because of all the bad things people were saying about engineering jobs, and I suspect that others have considered something similar. It is partly because of videos like yours and Wissam Seif's that I haven't! Keep up the great work!
Man even if you made this video an hour longer, I would kinda just watch. How interesting. Funny how i did not notice when it even ended, I was just so caught up with this amazing content.. It's kinda good though how you kept it short, nice and brief. Awesome schedule and it helps to know how much discipline you put in your life.
I truly appreciate this video that you made. I’m a Mechanical Engineer and I’ve been applying to startups with the goal of doing what you are doing right now. Thank you for showing your schedule and I appreciate including BJJ in there because I want to pick that up again! Please keep creating more content!
This is litterly my dream job as a coming up Mechanical Engineer. I'm working on getting my solidworks certification and and hope to graduate fall of 2023. I hope I get a job like yours someday. Love your content
I’m just starting my life as an engineering student in college in Scotland (little different to American colleges) and working my way up to uni but these videos have given me such a fantastic insight into how courses work, what routes I have and most importantly a realistic mindset about what I’m going to do. I cannot thank you enough, you’ve definitely earned a new sub.
I have just completed my HND in mechanical engineering and have just started uni direct entry to 3rd year. I wish u the best of luck in your studies, it will work out 💪.
Currently working as a Mechanical Design Engineer in Malaysia and hoping to work in the United States if there're any opportunities! It was great watching you shared about daily working life and it's truly inspiring!
haha very relatable, especially the part with not finding the tool in the workshop, cad not doing what you want and being happy when you can do actual work instead of all the meetings.
I am an incoming freshman at Ain Shams University (Egypt), majoring in mechatronics. Your videos are so inspirational to me and intensifiy my desire to be an engineer and to see the world from the eyes of one (maybe think of Ta3meya cook in terms of torque) I was surprised to know you're from Egypt! It will be awesome of you could make a video about your story. I'm sure it will be very interesting.
im currently in my first semester of software engineering and I've realized that I don't wanna just sit in front of a desk everyday and code, even though I enjoy it and and good at it. Ive been watching a lot of your videos because I'm interested in switching to mechanical engineering since I have always wondered how things work. I am also very interested in cars and hands on things like you showed in your video. My main concern with switching majors is that the classes will be too hard for me. I am in pre calculus right now instead of calculus, which has already put me a semester behind. I would also be a semester or two behind my peers which makes me feel like I'm dumb since I'm not as good as them. I am literally torn between which major I should do. I just don't want to be too overwhelmed with the physics, chemistry and math in mechanical engineering that I wish I would have stuck with software.
I’m in the same position as you. I am an information systems major. I’m going to tell you the same thing I keep telling myself. It’s never too late to change your mind! Some people follow thru with a major that they hate and then get a job that sucks, only to realize they wish they would have majored in something else. It’s better for people like us to catch it while it’s still early. Let’s remember that it may take us longer, but if we work hard. It’ll definitely be worth it in the end. Best of luck!!!
I similarly planned to go for mechanical engineering over computer science, but mechanical design feels 10 times harder and exhausting than programming.
Amazing video, I am currently finishing my bachelor in Mechatronics and trying to find a job so it's like a stressful situation for me right now choosing the right direction. I hope I'll find what suits me the best. Enjoying your content keep it up!
Hi first year industrial electronics engineering student here from Pakistan Your videos are pretty informative and relatable and i am thankful to you for making them in your busy schedule .
Tameer I have been watching your vids since u had 25k subs man you channel grew a lot. I have been watching your vids in highschool but now I am in my first year of mechanical engineering and I am still watching. The tips you give in your videos are very helpful. I love your vids man keep it up. 👍
Your videos show us real life as an engineer working. I like your ideas in showing the video showing us your life, and how to manage... Thanks and keep going !
After 10 years of working as a mechanical design engineer, it's no longer fun. You know every program, every operation, every mechanism. You know the calculations by heart. Customers want "fast and cheap", time is short, products are "supposed to break" because this is their design assumption and there is nothing you can do about it even though you know you should. Today I would choose a different career path.
Like what? It seems like after 10 years in any field this is going to be the same situation you find yourself in. I could be wrong, but how I see it is would you rather be bored in your 10th year doing Accounting or Engineering?
Yeah sadly there is not alot of Chem engineers doing vlogs and doing work tour and day in life of ChemEng , but if you want to watch Chem Eng UA-camr you should check “chemical engineering guy” he do videos talk about chem eng related topics and also have playlist of teaching videos for thermo , material balance and reactor design and hysys .etc , stay cool bro and good luck
This was perfect for my middle school robotics class until it got to the jujitsu part, lol. Definitely not going to assign it to my kids when I have a sub, but will be great when I can stop it at that part. (Jujitsu is great, 30 kids trying out jujistu in my classroom not so great.) Thanks for this look into the life of a mechanical design engineer.
Man ur videos are really awesome, i never saw these kind of quality videos in mechanical....u r nailing it keep doing it regularly bro it's really awesome....and do some robotics course video for mechanical engineers also....thanks in advance 😍😍😍😍
Can you make a video of networking tips / how to get a referral? I heard most positions are filled from references rather than purely a resume. Or can you show us tips on how you manage your time? How do you have time to work full time and create high quality videos? I love your journey!
3:50 I work for a startup that is developing an AI which will create 3D objects starting from simple drawings and concepts. This way, the company will be able to fire a bunch of mechanical engineers; so instead of having humans having to get up in the morning, drive to the workplace and spend hours on a computer, a self designing AI will do that job instead, which can end being cheaper and honestly better for the environment.

Such an amazing work you have going on. I want to throw in a question, can you share tips on how to get a fully remote job especially when you're not living in Europe.
Hey @Tamer, congrats on another great vid! I’ve been binging your vids for the last 2-3 months bc I decided at 40 to change careers and duel-bachelor in aerospace and mechanical engineering. Your vids have been instrumental, but how did you afford Solidworks as a student? Was there a student version/discount license? I was hoping to be able to practice with it while in my general courses. Thanks in advance.
As a student, the only way I know of to get SolidWorks for “free” is to join an engineering club or design team at your school. They usually give their members free licenses. You could also choose to go with a different CAD software like FreeCAD or Fusion 360. Those usually are free.
Hey man, I’m 3 semesters out from graduating, and I’m also a BJJ practitioner. Ive been training for 5 years and it’s a great way to decompress as you put it. I’m about 160 pounds, and from your videos you look close to that too. Maybe we’ll face each other at a comp someday lol
