Same problem same dilemma, I lucked out to where it was a 41 ft toy hauler with an 11 foot garage and I just put a frigerator in the garage. Use the old refrigerator as a pantry, and now regulated to one bike instead of two. Sure the refrigerator is AC current but I don't live in it oh, so when it's parked I take the food out and when I'm going down the road with food in it I pack it with ice until I can plug it in. Thank you for your video I'm sorry you guys had to go through all that. That's basically the same mechanical design of the frigerator they've had for almost 40 years. You would think somebody would come up with something better by now huh you guys take care
I our situation I am glade we replaced the cooling element. You are correct with your statement on why they have not upgraded the cooling systems over the years. When we replaced ours we purchased a cooling unit that had a heavy duty boiler and tubing. Hopefully it will out last the old unit. Happy and safe travels, Jim
