A lot of times when you pull cards, different things pop into my mind than what you say. But today when you got to the part of the dirty cop and the link and you asked how is one connected to the other, and the "bones" card came up...right away what popped into my mind was relative/family...I'm not sure why, but I couldn't shake it and I just don't know why my mind related...family...to bones... I just needed to get that out, not sure why...maybe because even before finding your channel, I've always felt a female was the top dog, so to speak. In the beginning I saved a court doc about some people who were involved with drugs and they killed one of their own. A girl and man were involved and the person who was at the top was a woman. This was in Boise. I do not save things from the internet, but something compelled me to save this, something just clicked...then when I found your channel and you talked about the Link...I was floored...

My theory is it was actually Dad who called the tip line because the rest of the family were speculating he could be the murderer. He reluctantly called the tip line and for some reason they took him seriously. He was directed to go to the nearest police station and give a cheek swab which he did. Dad's actual DNA was compared to the sheath and found it had to be left by his son. Dad never really wanted to do this and when told BK was a match said he didn't want to testify or have BK know he gave the DNA sample. He is the confidential informant the FBI is protecting. This is why the prosecution put up such a fight about releasing the DNA information. There was no family tree done as it was a direct comparison from Dad to the sheath. But the FBI promised to keep his identity a secret and that is when the court games began.

My theory is it was actually Dad who called the tip line because the rest of the family were speculating he could be the murderer. He reluctantly called the tip line and for some reason they took him seriously. He was directed to go to the nearest police station and give a cheek swab which he did. Dad's actual DNA was compared to the sheath and found it had to be left by his son. Dad never really wanted to do this and when told BK was a match said he didn't want to testify or have BK know he gave the DNA sample. He is the confidential informant the FBI is protecting.
This is why the prosecution put up such a fight about releasing the DNA information. There was no family tree done as it was a direct comparison from Dad to the sheath. But the FBI promised to keep his identity a secret and that is when the court games began.
