Sir, I literally have to thank u to the core..for past two hours I am solving problems from baye's theorem.. not even a single answer went ryt.. jus after seeing ur video the first question which I did was right.. it gave me immense pleasure.. Thank u soo much for ur efforts sir 👍🙏
*Summary for myself* 1.A....box or urn.(which contain the elements) 2.find conditional probability (......from.... .) And write it as a/b 3.change question to opposite than 2 and plug values to get answer
Is there a mistake in example 2? In the denominator shouldn't it be (0.02*0.6)? It's a very helpful video Thank you very much Looking forward for your next videos.
One mistake, in 2nd question you have input wrong value of P(D/A), it will be 0.02 but there it is 0.04 . Plz pin so everyone can make correction . Thnx 😀

@Ashish Rana bro we have 7balls in box u pick only one ball and u dont know what is the colour of then u pick one ball so in the box have two colours of balls then we write 1/2.
@Ashish Rana @TELUGU BOY ✔ P(A) and P(B) are probability of selecting the boxes. We can choose any box. So both the boxes, A and B are equally probable. Hence, P(A) = P(B) = 1/2
interesting, you've grasped the concept well I guess since you are able to explain it so well in the simplest of terms. you can apply these for deduction in real life, mathematically becoming somewhat of a Sherlock :p
ahamad romen welcome 😃 do share with your friends too😊 watch this tutorial for understanding probability problems easily (step by step) ua-cam.com/video/NRLlG74_UjE/v-deo.html
There is a mistake in the 2nd question's answer. U have place the wrong value of D/A in the formulae thats why answer came out to be wrong. Probablity will be 16%
Last math has a miscalculation where u multiplied 0.04*0.6 in the denominator where the defective percentage was 2% for A machine. The final ans of 2nd math will be 4/25
Thanks for the video... I'm at right place to learn probability... There is one correction in last question P(D|A) value is 0.02 instead of 0.04 ... So there is just calculation mistake... Ans is = 4/25
Hello sir the explanation was awesome 💥, But I got a doubt, how do we find that the given question is based on Baye's Theorem or it is Conditional probability?
why is the question must be the second? For the example at 8:00, the question clearly said " find the prob it was drawn FROM second box", and selecting element should be Red balls, from 2nd box. why is it P(B|R) instead of P(R|B)? Sorry but i dont get it.
In normal probability in example no 1... P(A) = 1/2....it's based on box or item like red ,white etc...P(A) should be equal to (red) / (red+white)...????
I found the video lecture interesting. Thank you, but there was only one error at the end that the answer was supposed to be 4/25 or 0.16 but because P(D/A) was considered incorrectly as 0.04 not 0.02 which made the final answer 4/37. Anyways the explanation was really good. 👍

always selecting element from box is possible .so P(R/B) is possible
therefore Q is opposite of it I.e P(B/R)
Oh yeah thanks ya I was mistaken on fundamental stuff sorry

OK no problem 🙂
