Your explanation is really good but the final example is quite simple. We can solve it with simple conditional probability (no need of using bayes theorem). P(K ⋂ F) = 4 & P(F) = 12 => 4/12 => 1/3
You’re amazing !! I have gone through many of your videos on concepts related to Machine learning and found them relatively so easy ..just want to express my gratitude. I have my exams in next 3-4 days .. thankyou for making the subject easy and interesting 🙏🏻

Thanks alot, mate. You are a real life saver, more like an exam saver, its my exam tomorrow, and probability was the only chapter which, I didn't know a bit about. After watching your video I've gotten some idea of how to solve questions. Think I'll do good in my exam. Thanks again. Keep making more videos.😊

This teacher really have grear knowledge of concept and also know how to deliver that concept to the everyone with in the less time that's great keep going sir it hels lot
Can you cite an example of : 'P(A|B) is not directly computed , so we use this other 3 probabilities ' , I hope it has something to do with hypothesis testing , but an explanation is most welcome
You are a lifesaver brother. I wasted 1hour to grasp this concept from engineering books since this is a very important topic. Then i came across your video and you explained everything in such short amount of time is just unbelievable. Kudos and keep up the good work. 👌
Monitor three consecutive phone calls going through a telephone switching office. Classify each one as a voice call (v) if someone is speaking, or a data call (d) if the call is carrying a modem or fax signal. Your observation is a sequence of three letters (each one is either v or d). For example, three voice calls corresponds to vvv. The outcomes vvv and ddd have probability 0.2 whereas each of the other outcomes vvd, vdv, vdd, dvv, dvd, and ddv has probability 0.1. Count the number of voice calls NV in the three calls you have observed. Consider the four events N V = 0, NV = 1, NV = 2, NV = 3. Describe in words and also calculate the following probabilities: (1) P[NV = 2] (2) P[NV ≥ 1] (3) P[{vvd}|NV = 2] (4) P[{ddv}|NV = 2] (5) P[NV = 2|NV ≥ 1] (6) P[NV ≥ 1|NV = 2]
The Bayes Theorem combines the Law of Total Probability and Conditional Probability. you can apply Bayes Theorm to find the probability of a prior event given that you already know the outcome of that particular event ..
I really liked the efforts u put in to make us understand every bit. Thank you so mch. I am not going to be an engineer bt my exams for MCom are approaching, i saw the course , was really scared, saw this here really helped. Good wishes for u.

Yeah that was my thought aswell, I’m looking for an example where you’ve got no choice but to use baye’s theorem. I CANT FIND ONEEE

(1) P[NV = 2]
(2) P[NV ≥ 1]
(3) P[{vvd}|NV = 2]
(4) P[{ddv}|NV = 2]
(5) P[NV = 2|NV ≥ 1]
(6) P[NV ≥ 1|NV = 2]

Excellent Video.. lots of Respect.
how can I differentiate between Conditional Probability and Bayes Theorem? OR When should I apply Bayes Theorem
The Bayes Theorem combines the Law of Total Probability and Conditional Probability. you can apply Bayes Theorm to find the probability of a prior event given that you already know the outcome of that particular event ..
conditional theorem and baye's theorem are same but things
the main difference is the methods of both the theorems as mentioned in prior reply
If card is given as face card so total events are 12 and our favourable cases are king cards i.e. 4 So probability is simply = 4/12 = 1/3
classic explanation sir !! covered all terms !! 🙌

NO. OF FACE CARDS ARE 12 IN A DECK OF 52 CARDS, NO. OF KINGS ARE 4 SO PROBABILITY OF KING IS (4/12=1/3). NAIVE BAYES IS NOT NECESSARY ON THIS EXAMPLE.
