Cutting a hole in your door does sound intimidating at first, but you did great going through each step. Thanks for partnering with Zabitat, enjoy your upgraded door!
Thanks! Happy to work with quality product 👍🏽
Another trick that I’ve used when doing something like this before is to use some of the endless wood scraps and shim under the door before removing it. Then when you go to reinstall you can just set the door on those scraps instead of doing the prybar trick
oh - I like that move for sure. Helps to keep unnecessary pressure how those last couple of screws while removing the door too. Thanks for the tip man!
Great build, man! Easy work, big reward! Great idea with the ZipLock bag in the sprayer! Thanks for the inspiration! Lookin' forward to the next one!
Haha thanks man! And yeah, no kidding - huge game changer of look. Glad you enjoyed the video!
Looks like you did a nice job. But with one easy kick, future doctors and astronauts are in through your front door.
lol they’d be in for a surprise - our guard dog isn’t very friendly to unwelcome guests 🤣.
Thanks for checking out the video !
Looks great!!!
Thanks man! Appreciate you checking out the build!
Looks amazing 👏 😍
Thanks man! Appreciate you checking out the build!
Great! I just priced out a new front door off the shelf... $1400!😂
*whistles - man, that’s steep! Lol
How's the painted hardware holding up to usage? Did you topcoat it with anything? I worry painting over brass (even if it's been roughed up with sandpaper) just won't hold up to the abuse it'll take over the years.
I had reservations too, but it’s held like a dream 👍🏽
Hi, i like the color. which color did you do for the door?
The color is called Essex Green from Benjamin Moore
