That was pure magic Damo. Green and pleasant lands indeed mate, sometimes i think we need to stop and slow it all down, just get back to proper life. Cheers Moose. 👍🇬🇧👍🇬🇧
Hi Damien. If you stop playing the video at 57 seconds. Coming out from the castle you would turn left to Pegswood a right to Ashington. Turn right on the left side of the street is a blue car/van directly opposite is a house with three windows in the roof. I you look at right side of the gable end you will see one of the coin stones is replaced with a replica of Bothal castle. Hope all makes
Hi I think Bothal castle belongs to Bothal estate and is leased out. Years ago the welan had the lease. They had visitors that would stay when doing business. One way to impress your customers 😸👍
I can vaguely remember seeing apple/fruit trees as a kid when we went in the grounds. Didn't stay long as we got chased off, Bothal is a lovely place hidden away just outside of civilization, a bit like Mitford come to think of it. ATB
Hi Damien. I had the opportunity to do some joinery work inside the castle. Not sure who's living there at the moment? As you look from the castle to the river in the garden I was told the walnut tree is as old as the castle? I thought you might have showed in you video the second Bothal castle in the village. Are you aware of it. PS. Fantastic videos and great crack thought I saw the Yeti in the woods. Or was it the Pegswood panther 😸or am I full of s---t. 😂😂
Bothal castle is owned by the Welwyn electronics company and contains appartments for their employees. I know this as my neighbour moved in because his wife worked for the Welwyn, this was a few years ago and things may have changed since then.
I have the phantom 3 professional which is a decent drone and can be bought at a much lowe price now. The phantom 3 standard uses wifi and suffers from lost signal quite a bit, saying that you can use a app called litchi where you pre program waypoint missions and the drone uses gps and doesn't rely on the remote controller. If you can afford it get the phantom 3 advanced if filming in 4K isn't what you need. The advanced and professional models use lightbridge instead of wifi for the radio link and the distance is alot better and you dont get disconnected very much
Got the last one from Maplin for a decent price of £699. looked at the spark but the fixed framerate of 30 fps put me off as my other camera records in 50 fps and its a pain editing both together. I haven't got a ND filter yet so the higher framerate would be better to achieving the fps x2 shutter speed for that cinematic look. Saying that I'm getting a lot of aliasing in the shots when filming shots with fine lines in. I've reduced the sharpness levels on the camera which helps a little. ATB
Beautiful, and much appreciated footage and music, thank you.

Beautiful on all levels!
Great video plus great soundtrack mate
Lovely footage from the drone bro but can not help thinking how those buildings would handle an earthquake like we get here in NZ. All the best

Music choice, perfect. Music speed coupled with video speed, perfect and a joy to watch. Thank you Damien. Bibsoutdoors

Its a phantom 3 professional, prices are really coming down now the phantom 4 is out. I'm hoping drone footage will take my filming to the next level
Thanks for the comment, atb
Your filming is already great, but this will enhance it, plus you will be able to keep tracks on the yeti hahaha
Nice music
Awesome
Great vid, am looking at getting a phantom 3 standard. Whats your opinion on it so far?
