In fact, all your games are so damn amazing! They all have this tiny hint of eeriness that makes them so cool and unique! And I love the style of your games so much.
I downloaded this game on the Nintendo eShop expecting the worst. But by the time I was done this is one of my favorite games on the switch. 10/10 is worth more than it is being sold for. Keep going you have a great taste in gaming, I can't wait to see what you make next!
I can’t believe I never heard of this game before, looks interesting. Definitely getting this and your makeship plushie too, which is how I learned of this game via the plushie advertisement.
I remember installing fatum betula long before i played it and just immediately falling in an unbreakable love for the game once i booted it up. This game is on another level of Amazing.
Hey Bryce, just played this game, I found all the endings and managed to accidentally find your secret dev room, really enjoyed the intricacy and attentional detail, keep up the good work.
On the night before my 18th birthday, I lay awake, as usual. Not wanting to miss out on the clock striking Midnight, I choose to play a game to pass the time. But which? I have played many during my time on the Earth, but not many have the proper symbolism that I'm looking for that are reserved for the occasion. Not many other than this one, of course. So during the final hour, I boot up the game, and wander. I think about life and how I've been faring in it thus far as I stroll through The Autumn - The Beach - The Odd Neighborhood - and the sorts. Life is a vibrant thing. A different experience for each individual, yet an experience we all share nonetheless. Art does that, too. So what better than to have both Life and Art shake hands for a little while to truly commemorate the fresh start of adulthood? I see the clock, and there - Time has struck midnight. I feel a grand satisfaction knowing that I allowed this game to share with me the final moments of an old chapter, yet to turn the page anew. This game, although still a little unfamiliar to me, is an important one in my eyes. It was the ultimate toast for something such as this, and I couldn't be any more content.
I bought this game in the Christmas of 2021. The beginning text with the river teeth creature instantly set it apart as its dream experience it was. I wanna play it again
Played through this trippy little gem over the weekend after it was released on the switch eShop. Absolutely loved the atmosphere of this game (especially the cherry blossom and autumn locations). Amazing stuff Bryce! Really keen to see what you do with any other projects that you release in the future!
I just randomly found out about your game on eshop and wow. Bless whatever makes random encounters like this happen. I needed an experience like this.. It brought me back to my childhood but added something complently new and moved the adult in me in ways no other piece of media has in recent years(?) Thank you for your art, i will look foward to what you release in the future as well
I recently play the full version and did all the endings. One of the best "surreal-philosophical" games i played. Simple and straight to the point. Thanks for the experience
This is such a beautiful game. There is such an incredible and immersive atmosphere along with interesting dialogue that really makes you think. Makes me wish I could experience it for the first time again. Thank you for sharing your creations.
I just completed the final ending, but I have a feeling that's not the end to the secrets in the game. But even if it is, I wanted to thank you for creating such a really cool game! It was thought-provoking and profound in such a deceptively simple way.
This game is so eerie and yet so beautiful. It makes you feel like a stranger and somehow it manages to create an atmosphere of familiarity. To anybody who may haven't played this before, do it; it's truly an unique experience.
Bought this on a whim from the Switch and had to come and say it’s easily one of the most unforgettable experiences I’ve had in a game. Truly beautiful also love the soundtrack
My wife and I played this game completely blind because we found it on the Switch eShop and oh my GOD we loved it, this was such a genuinely fun expierience and I cannot exaggerate just how thought provoking it was in general. Incredible work :)!
JUST FINISHED PLAYING THE GAME WITH MY LITTLE BROTHER AND IT WAS SO COOL! We had a great time and it really opened our eyes to the old school graphics genre!
I just played this game last night. I love how surreal it is, every character and area has so much charm and feels trippy as hell! What an insanely cool game.
This game is magnificent. Recently picked it up again after it's just been chilling in my switch library and these endings are so well though out and the world is so interesting to see in a bunch of different lights after each ending I do. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for an eerie/atmospheric game + the PS1 graphics are soooo nice. Wish u the best man and hope you can keep making amazing games like Fatum Betula
Dear Bryce, I just discovered Fatum Betula and played it on my switch. I absolutely love games like these especially with the vintage PlayStation art style. After getting all of the endings, it inspired me to look into game developing again! I haven’t wanted to do that since the 5th grade! Thank you for such an amazing game Bryce. I wish you could teach me all about developing a game like this, so I could make games like you!
Rewatching this every few weeks after finishing the game last December, it's so so so good, perfect game, one of my favorite games ever. Loved Mysteries Under Lake Ophelia too, great buildup, perfect ending, such good music in both games tool. Obsessed!
I officially finished this game only less than an hour ago and my goodness- I loved it. It’s such a good balance of every emotion and has such meaning. I loved the poetry in the endings. This game was nostalgic in some way but so enjoyable. I hope to see more work like this by you. Thank you, Bryce.
I just download this because it was on sale thinking it wasn’t gonna be good considering Nintendo was selling it for $2. But man after playing it it’s was just so beautiful and dark reminded me of my house.wad. Not a lot games like this, it was turned into almost an “art” piece. It really opened my eyes to a genre that is very unique. Amazing work to the team(s) you’ve collaborated with on your works they are just something else.
just finished the game with all endings, and oh my god, this is just a basic masterpiece. The ending where you showed how the game was made is just incredible!!! I'm very glad that bought it on Xbox, very inspiring!!
Just finished all 9 endings and the secret bonus video! What a beautiful game! It was profound, silly and just plain amazing. Thank you for bringing this to the switch!
Gotta say, this is one of my favorite games, ever. I've gotten several endings, but not all of them yet. What an experience. From the sound design, to the graphics; the different zones you explore... Great game, in every way. Currently playing through Disparity of The Dead and Mysteries Under Lake Ophelia now. Can't wait to see what else you put out in the future!
Thank you for making this beautiful game, I truly hope that we see more games with this style again or maybe a follow up to the series. Regardless I deeply enjoyed the atmosphere of this game and cannot wait to see what comes next. Keep the psychedelic stuff going lol
got this game recently and my god i love it so much!! i only uncovered 3 endings so far but im super excited to keep playing, thank you for such a great game!!!
this game i love. played it, very cool and somehow has a calm, creepy feeling to it. hopefully the creator sees this, and he should keep making these nice games
One of the only developers I've ever seen successfully itirate on the LSD dream emulator style and atmosphere. Also you're a dick for the biblically accurate angel at the bottom of the sea
this game did something to me and that something is really exciting. I’m not sure what it is yet but I can confidently say that I will make something good out of it
This game is amazing, have you made others similar to this? Ive gotten my family hooked on it my girlfriend and mom bought it lol, my moms always loved puzzles and me and my girlfriend really life the philosophy. Huge fan!
Hello Bryce, I just finished the game and got all the endings on the switch and have to say that it feels so refreshing and exciting to play. Are you planning to release more games in the future? And will they be even more scary 😱😍? Just wanted to share my admiration for Fatum Betula
Pretty cool game tbh, had a lot of fun and it’s cool to come back to every once and a while for inspiration or just for an artistically interactive way to pass time.
loved the game. wondered around for too many hours even after finding all the endings. only thing that really destroyed my immersion was the secret dev room.
I bought tbis game for €1 because it was an e shop sale and i had 100 coins and I thought this game looked interesting, im so glad i bought it because its so beautiful and interesting
You wouldn’t be able to mix them all because you can’t get the poison AND the beasts blood at the same time- due to how either are acquired I’m sure you could mix the other ones
I really wish that they had made the new Yume Nikki game like this game, it would have been way more artistically in line with the first game than that wierd puzzle platformer they made.
God I'm so happy we're finally reaching the PS1 artstyle indie game renaissance
This and Ex Zodiac are low poly which I love.
YESSIRRRR
i love it too
I still fucking love this game. Bryce, you are an incredible person.

Hey Bryce, what was your thought process when creating the game? :)

how did you make the intro in the beginning? same with the soundtrack
I loved this game so much, best game ever, 10/10 !
Lsd on swich
I love the game, I watched Alpha Beta Gamer play it. I have a question: What would happen if you mixed all of the liquids into one then use it?
You wouldn’t be able to mix them all because you can’t get the poison AND the beasts blood at the same time- due to how either are acquired
I’m sure you could mix the other ones
This reminds me alot of a game I played recently called Gaijin Charenji 1 Kiss or Kill
This game isn't even scary, it's more unsettleling than anything. Which makes it even better. Do you plan on making any DLCs?
my fucking god, what a game
Will there be a Playstation port?
Can you do a new game like fatum betula please 🙏
someday
yes finally
i remember you said tan ending currant ?
Indeed the 1.50 or so I spent was a good choice. Either a shlitz malt liquor beer, or this game. I chose well. Too bad no VR for it on switch.
