@anewengland if I'm right that's his first teacher, a saxophonist named Henry Scurti. He thought him musical lessons. Did not play the guitar. I forgot where I found the pic on internet. Mr. Scurti passed away some years ago.
Okay I love the way Gene Pitney sang it . Then The Dickies did a cover too . There version is great as well . Now I'm listening to the stray cats take a crack at it . There cover really sounds really great as well !

Two similar, but unique styles. Love em both, though I am a biased Setzer fan. But, Pitney is one of Setzer's two favorites, Eddie Cochran being the other.
