1. Download weighbridge software Installation zip file (weighbridgesoftware.zip) from www.smartbglobal.com. Copy zip file to some temporary folder in your C drive /desktop.
2.Extract the files from weighbridgesoftware.zip file into the folder(right click on the zip file, and click on 'extract to here' option).
3. Five files will be extracted from weighbridgesoftware.zip
Two files are text/pdf files for your reference (readme.txt and howtostart.pdf).
Three files are for setup (setup.lst, setup.exe and setup.cab).
If you cannot see the file name extension (.exe, .lst., zip etc), then you can enable displaying file extensions in 'folder options' menu of the folder.
4. Please click on readme.txt file and go through the contents. It can be opened in notepad or wordpad. You will get information on installation.
5. There is also a 3 page PDF file 'How to start using smartweigh'. You can read the PDF. Please take a print out and read it (It is only 3 pages!!).
6. Next is installation. Make sure that antivirus softwares are not running in the background, since they will interfere with installation.
Double-click on setup.exe file. In Windows 7,8 and Windows 10 you should right click on the setup.exe and click on 'run as administrator' option (this is required to for setup to copy files correctly).
7. Setup program starts up now, and you can see the blue color setup screen.
8. Next, setup file will ask you the installation location. Proceed with
c:\program files\smartweigh
Click on the PC icon to start installation.
Continue till setup completes installation.
