Costco (US) has the gamma lids online. A dozen for @ $90. Called “Twister Seal Lids”. Can’t choose color but will come either red, white or blue. Made in USA.
I was having a bear of a time trying to get the lids on. Tried with the bucket 🪣 on the hardwood floor, not happening. Tried next on the carpeting, didn’t work there either. Sat and banged, tried it upside down and nope… Here’s what finally worked for me after I realized the two flooring surfaces had too much give in them. Moved the bucket and gamma lid to a room with old ceramic tile (too cold for me to go outside for sidewalk, but that would work, too), the banged away with a rubber mallet. Ah! Success at last.
When looking at dried beans check out Mennonite food stores. In Alberta we have a large number of Mexican Mennonite and i was able to get 25 lb sacks of beans for under $30. They did offer 50 lb sacks but i can't lift that weight.
I’m also in Alberta and would be very interested in knowing where the Mennonites stores are I have Hutterite’s in my area but I’d love to get me some cheap beans

I bought gamma lids off amazon, 78hr preparedness and i am not happy with them. I have some coming from Lee Valley, they were $17 but there was no shipping. Lee Valley usually sells quality items so i should know next week how they compare.
That’s strange the ones we bought were great I also got some from uline and those were good too
What is the difference between Gamma and Gamma2 lids?
Gamma2 is the company that makes gamma kids, Vittle vaults pet feeders and other things. Where gamma lid is the name for the lid itself
I can attest to the longevity of the gamma seal lids. We've had them for at least 15 years and they are still going strong.

Zipzag bags are the best and cheapest around. Found on Amazon by accident 😂. Cheaper and better made in the USA also which gives it extra points in my book
