I have had the baitcaster for about 4 months and I absolutely love it, I also just picked up the spinning combo a few days ago and have fished with it once and it performed absolutely wonderfully and I am excited to have both of them.. lews makes a solid product from budget prices all the way to the highest price point you will not be disappointed

I just bought that same rob and reel for Walmart. The sign said $97 dollars, but when I scanned the bar code it came up $40.00. I could not believe it. So I scanned 2 more of the same ron and reel combos. Both scanned $40.00 dollars. Man I was happy as a fat kid in a sandbox. I went to the local lake and set it up with new test line. I am telling you people. This is one smooth and long casting combos I have tried. I could not believe the way the combos feels. I dialed it all in and I did not get any backlash at all. The reeling in is smooth as silk. What a deal! If you get a chance to get one at the price I got it. Get it! I have noticed at Walmart you when you go and look at rod and reel combos some are at the $100 mark and some $75 mark. If you see a rod and reel combo you like. Always price check it with the Walmart app. Because they do put these rod and reel combos in the wrong place sometimes also. I looked at the price sticker that is at the bottom of the display and it did say the same name of what the combo was and it had that $97 price tag. They both mach the brand of reel. But do not let that make you walk away or say, "I do not have enough to purchase it." Because a display tag means nothing these days. It is what the bar code scans for on the item itself. I bought one of those orange Lews baitcasters combos and love it. I have owned way more expensive baitcasters from Bass Pro and for the money, you can't beat this for a hundred bucks. It is light as can be, cast awesome, and very reliable. I have caught some big smallmouth on it. I have the matching spinning reel combo also.
Got this combo a couple years ago. Ive reeled in probably around 2 to 300 fish and just now have to replace the anti reverse bearings cant believe its lasted this long with the abuse its gone through honestly the best combo ive ever gotten under 100 bucks.

Purchased one last week from WallyWorld. Fished it along side my Lews Mach Smash..... worked just as good, $30 cheaper. Smooth😎
Picked this up tonight and I’m gonna use it in the morning. Super excited
Ive owned the Lews Xfinity slp speed spool green and white for about 10 years. Mounted to an Adavantage IM6 6'6" medium action bass rod. I do a lot of weighted texas rig pitching and punching a lot of lillys and mats so this thing gets broke down and cleaned, oiled and greased about every 3 weeks. My next will be an Abu Garcia it has like 8 or 9 bearings from wally world. Need to look more at it before i get it. My only advice when purchasing baitcasters from big box stores is to learn to break them down and oil and grease them before 1st use. They put minimal lub in them. Thats why they spin so freely in store.
I was at my local Walmart last night and saw this combo going for $68 and instantly thought that was a steal. Next day you post this. Getting that tomorrow.
I saw this combo at Walmart today. My main combo is a Lew’s Pro-Ti and TP1 Black Speed Stick. The Xfinity would be a great loaner set up

I have 3 of these. 2 that’s white and orange like this one and one that’s orange and black. Very reliable reels.

Let's is a underrated brand. I own a spinning reeal combo. It has never disappointed. Always runs like a dream.

Walmart zeros their price on combos more than anything else, especially when they have one or two. But the deal is gone as soon as the price is slashed. Don’t think you’ll get a deep cut down combo every time, but if you make efforts to the employees in that department as being a nice person and good customer, the employee usually gives you a hint of what and when they are doing a price cut.
A new one came out yakpak at Walmart its the Lews Laser Pro its Red Its So nice for 80$ 🔥❗️

I’m shopping around for a first combo set and your videos are really helpful in that decision. As much as I would like a Googan rod and a good reel, I don’t think the wife would have it. But you should really get Norm on that RipIt game. Always makes you feel like your back in the sand.

either have i! the one i have here in WI just is half that.
I had to warranty replace that rod due to the eyes shaving my mono line. They sent a replacement no problem, but it does the same thing. I have relegated this rod to braid only due to the bad eyelets. Just a heads up. The reel is one of my favorites though, and I now run it on a different rod. I just wish it was available in a lefty retrieve.
Grabbed this as a backup to my lews smash combo, then this video pops up the same day. Nice.

I got a mach 2 for my first baitcaster and within a week found this rod and bought it. I normally retrieve left handed and it's a right but figured when I'm learning might as well learn both ways. The rods have both been great, but I can't catch shit this summer. That's an angler problem not a rod problem. Still learning

I got a Lews Reactor reel (black with green accents) paired with a 6' 10 Lews Laser Pro rod . The reel was 80 and rod was 30 and for my first baitcaster is smooth and easy to use

I picked up one of those Laser's in the spinning version last week and it felt so good that it rode around in my cart for awhile before I put it back because I don't really need another rod right now. I will most likely go back and pick one up sometime this week, I've been thinking about it ever since.
