I thought that the denaturalization process was so difficult that it would only be worth it if somebody committed an almost unspeakable crime against the United States? I thought the burden shifts to the government to show that his case would have been denied?
I still believe he can come out of it. I don't think it's that terrible (my opinion). Humans are not robots. Mistakes happen. He never married the other lady. Which is legally acknowledged. He may not have known about the child, which is possible too. Only to be told now, and he decides to file for the child. People never add what they are never aware of. I'm open for more education.
Hello, my wife came to the USA on a K-1 visa. I married her four days before the 90-day expiration date because I was on military deployment. Now, the 90 days have passed, and I haven't applied for a green card. Does anyone know what the next step is? Also, she is pregnant. Thank you.
Hello, thank you for your question. You can participate in Jim’s UA-cam live show @HackingImmigrationLawLLC & ask him any immigration questions. Next show is Jan 8th at 2:30 PM CST. If you want to hire us, send us an email at info@hackingimmigrationlaw.com
Whether he knew about the child or not, isn’t the issue about the fact that he was sleeping with someone else while claiming to immigration that he was in a good faith marriage? The child is the evidence that he lied to USCIS. I could be mistaken.
@ella5442 mistake does happen. I have seen the service approve a case where a woman had an out of child wed lock. Her husband was granted a 10 year greencard, and he applied citizenship under the 3 year rule, and it was approved.
These attorneys will say things to just scare people. The man doesn’t have to know. Too high a road immigrants have to walk. How many Americans I knew in the military who sleep around with other servicemen’s wives and had children with them. Nobody says s**t.

The burden is still on the govt, but denaturalization can totally happen if you substantially misrepresented yourself

@@okeifwynter6911 the validity of his marriage still comes into question because he cheated.
@@okeifwynter6911Funny how my original comment was deleted.🤔 Even in my original comment, I did state that I could’ve have been mistaken.
