The commentator should point out, that one of the biggest difficulties in driving 4 in hand, is to have a steady even pull from the 2 horses nearest the carriage, while avoiding ANY pulling from the front pair. That is incredible difficult in it self, and just one of the many aspects that makes Chester Weber one of the greatest coachmen ever.
I was born at least 150 years too late; I knew how to drive a team of 4 Belgians long before I could drive a manual motor! 😂. I live in the Western states of the US and these draft horses are tremendously rare here now, I miss farming my 25 acres with my teams of Belgians.
