@@scronx I am an in-between Gen X/Millennial and I feel so out of place! I agree with you completely! Every show has CONSTANT F-words and it's so ugly. (That's not the ONLY problem, but it's the best example.) I'm TIRED of current television and film! I'm just hooked on the Golden Age of television! HOOKED! I can't watch anything new. ESPECIALLY newer than 2008-ish. I hate it almost all
Wow! I was not expecting THAT! Man! I LOVE these old (Golden Age) 30 minute plays! Any 30 minute series from this time. The hour long episodes feel a bit too "slow drama", even though I do still love many of them. But I so love the 30 minute format. This was great! Thank you for uploading it!
Her husband was a cruel and insensitive man. This was well acted and the scenes of London interested me. I think that I saw on UA-cam a different tv series with the theme of an unknown child death and the parent was cruelly presented with the reality.
Thank you for this!
Enjoyed this very much. Thank you.
The good old days. As horrifying as this is, it's better than the last 1000 hellywood movies combined.
@@christylovejoy5564 Thanks. In today's idiotized climate I get very few positive comments.
Typical geezer comment
@@pattimaeda6097 Thank you. I'm extremely proud not to be Gen-X, Millennial or (God help us) some later generation.

A good drama. Taken from the first part of a story on which the movie, "Adventure in Manhattan" (1936 Joel Mcrea and Jean Arthur) was based.
Good One Thank You
23:47, S-14 TC-153, is a “ZIV” Sting, only the last notes heard. Also heard on Highway Patrol, Sea Hunt, and others.
The London taxi has a U.S.-style licence plate
I was hoping she was Mrs. Wendes. And was going to dial m. The population of London has increased over these 64 years.
I believe the 8.5 million was referring to the population of London, not the whole UK.

Stock footage of London 🙄
The fellow at the bar asks the hero to come "for dinner". Is that just a funny Britishism?
Poor audio 😪
What horrible vindictive man! It takes two Parents to raise a child.
With a fairytale twist she meets a Gentleman.
I Like Ray Milland, but this production was too melodramatic for my stomach. And the main tit was annoying as hell (accent and all). Skip it.
