It has always amazed me how little racing there is in the US. There is not even a real race track in each state. The entire US has only, what... 3-4 real race tracks up to any kind of standards. And extremely few sportscars / supercars / racing cars. Which is why they had to use a British car with a British driver to get that legendary win back in the 60s. And its the same again with the 2005 Ford GT, and this new racecar in this video. Ford tried design and build it themselves. But in the end, they had to call in the Brits to get the job done properly. After Fords inhouse attempt failed and got closed down. Its the same with the SSC Tuatara... That one was built in Italy. And the Venom that the other guy mentioned, gets 100% built in England. America just... Cant make the good stuff. Thats not just cars. Its in everything.

I enjoyed your video. No matter the manufacture, model or year. The Ford GT Mark IV is a beautiful work of art with amazing technologies. It was hard to determine but it appeared you were talking to the driver during his lap. He mentioned later that he sometimes got confused with the numerous gauges. Besides staying focused. Reasons not to talk with a pro driver during lap. I'm also sure you realize that that was not a full hot lap since my guess is the tires were just reaching temp after about 1/2 a lap plus that track didn't allow the Mark IV to run it's full 800 horsepower due to it's design with lots of corners and limited straightaways. Otherwise you would have shared your breakfast with your U-Tube subs. I'm curious if your looking at obtaining a Dark Horse GTD Supercar?
