The courts are to be immune to political pressure. Trump is doing the same thing: "petitioning" the court with political pressure, in place of the LAW that is required.
Don't forget there was election denialism in 2016 too, Brian. Trump claimed he had won the popular vote, then set up his own election integrity commission, which found nothing and quietly shut down.
I say that if Trump picks anyone for VP It is likely gonna be Vivek Ramaswamy. Why you ask it is simple, out of all of the candidates he was the first if not the only one that said he would pardon Trump if elected. Also he is a business man, I would say more successful than Trump. Then there is a chance that if Trump wins that the GOP cannot steal the house and flip the senate. Meaning that a huge blue wave appears taking a lot of votes away from the GOP and giving them to the democrats. If Trump is president with a huge democratic house and senate. Then Trump starts doing the things he said he would do which are things that a president cannot do. Which means he would commit more crimes. Then when wind of impeachment along with possible conviction and removal from any future ballots Trump then can resign like Nixon, that is if he wants to go that route. Then the VP would step in and pardon him like Ford did for Nixon.
