I had plans ,bought tickets , and didn’t make it to the show. When Ed died The Black Crowes would never be the Black Crowes again. Without a Steve Gorman its the Blood brothers duo Hour. It’s a shame they needed cash because the Album Anniversary to Celebrate-is Southern Harmony . I thought I’d seen the last Black Crowes show on December 19th 2010 Thanks for the memories on the Fillmore poster. So I’m on a Crowes gravy diet.. Live War Paint is the best thing they’d done since 3 snakes
I'm a 56 year old former rock n' roller. these guys are the last of Mohicans...peak shit almost all of the time. I should qualify by saying my favorite bands ever are....Who, Stones, LIttle Feat, Dire Straits, Steely Dan, Yes, Dylan, Joe Walsh, ZZ Top, The Band, Zappa...and an emphasis on blues & soul - thinking Muddy Waters, Lightning Hopkins, The Howling Wolf, Sly & Family Stone, James Brown, Fela Kuti...that's all I've got...besides about another 120 bands who have 1 or 3 peak songs that leave me feeling perfectly inadequate...THE END.
That scream Chris Robinson does before the 1st verse of the song ruins everything this song had going for it. Unnecessary for this band. The show I saw on this tour as well was boring left halfway thru and I've never done that before, been to over 20 shows. Audley Freed was more exciting than this guy. And this was the last time I ever saw the black crowes 2008. I don't get all the hype for this album of the band and the following effort before the frost. Marc Ford & Eddie Hawyrsch were huge in this this band. This is just boring.

This is pure gold. I miss this band a lot! Don't get me wrong, I love Marc Ford but Luther is in another league. And this song really shines live.
